Nice, twas almost like watching the pro thing, and i'm saying this with no knowledge what so ever about how the pro one actually sounds considering that i don't watch the dub and probably won't watch the new one considering I'm not a fan of the series and probably won't watch it....ever...god job

LOL, I loved the "HAH?!" at the end =P
Good job on this dub! One thing that bothered me was Ed's voice... I'm not really sure, but it just didn't seem to fit! Maybe his voice wasn't... Scratchy enough? Maybe another word... Still, I liked Ed's shout at the beginning and the end of the clip =P

Ling Yao: Y. Chang
- I really like the texture of your voice, it's very smooth and different. However, I would like to hear more effort on the acting portion of it, it seemed a little...stale. The character was being chased and involved in a rather bloody battle yet he always seemed rather in control when I would expect him to be a little panicked.
Lan Fan: Mindychan
- After hearing your Sailor Moon, I was expecting the same old, same old but you surprised me with a different voice with that emotional performance I've come to expect. Very nice. At times it's a little hard to understand, like you slur your words a bit...I'm not sure...it might be the microphone.
Alphonse Elric: KitsuneSqueak
- Cute, your boy voices getting better and better every time I hear them. The echo effect could have been a little more...metallic, but that's more for mixing and I can't really think of anyway to improve it.
Scar: Antfish
- I don't have much to say about this performance, acting was pretty good and the voice was nice and low which is always a nice surprise considering the amount of young males around. A few slurs you might want to watch out for but nothing glaring.
Edward Elric: CountAbyss
- A different take on the character, I was expecting a Vic imitation which seems to be the direction most go nowadays. It was nice change, it took a bit to get used to admittedly but the acting was there and you had the attitude the character needed.
Gluttony: Masako-kun
- OMG, I couldn't even tell that way you. Very creepy performance.
Riza Hawkeye: Sapphire
- Not much to go off of, seemed okay >D;
King Bradly: Sarifus
- Omgggg, total Tim Curry vibes. Loved it, really fit the characters appearance. Not really sure what his voice sounded like originally but it worked.

Do it!

Yeah every time I do a clip with Al the effect always seems to change, and I never think it's quite right either.. Someday I'll find something that sounds right!

Yeah I personally didn't want a "Vic imitation" that's why I go looking for something else

You should get Kitsu to do the metal bowl method they do in the actual dub, it might give ya something...

Do it!

*claps*! good for you for trying something different
Kei, thanks for the review! I do many other projects but they never get posted here on the VAA (or completed, too). I have been doing some various Ranma clips with different voices if you want to check those out in the future. (Link is in my sig~)
I have this thread saved to give a full review too by this weekend. From first glance, I really did enjoy it. Thanks for the opportunity, Sukisho!

Lovely clip as always sukisho.
Ling- Has a nice young voice and the deliveries were all good. Main thing I found a bit off was that he didn't seem to have a strong enough tone to reflect his warrior side, but otherwise I liked the take.
Lan fan- Good job on capturing Lan fan's more emotional side, I also think you might've wanted a stronger tone for the character as she does seem to come off a bit weaker than necessary, but the way you took it still was good. Everytime I hear you it's just keeps getting better and better.
Alphonse- I think this is much more refined from the last clip and overall I had no real problems with this, good job!
Scar- I liked this voice for scar, it was rough and strong but the roughness probably could've been toned down a little. Still the deliveries were all strong and what I expect from the character, nicely done~
Edward- Not the voice I expected but eh, it works for ed decently enough. Deliveries could've been a tad stronger, but good energy overall.
Gluttony- Well it sounds exactly like gluttony should sound like, no real complaints here.
Riza- Short moment but sweet, her serious tone was well conveyed.
Bradley- Getting better with this voice man, your final delivery was great. Keep up the great work ^^
Overall you guys all worked well together, hope to see you in more clips~

^^ That's what I always try an do if there's already a dub of a series (cause what's the point in dubbing something only to sound like what already exists?)
Welcome! And I look forward to the review
and thanks hyperknees91 ^^
