Starry Ai Studio's fandub of Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ Episode 3 has been released on Youtube. Thank you to all of our patient cast members, we apologize greatly for the extreme delay in the project and hope that you enjoy the final outcome.
I really was beginning to worry about this project's release, ahaha...I'm glad it actually came out though. I'm with CountAbyss on this being an oldie, predating the equipment I now use. I'm looking forward to watching this.
"A refreshing drink just for you." <<YouTube>> Things have changed. You'll see...
Believe me, we are as relieved as you are that this was finally released. We had to put it on the back-burner for a while before coming back to it to comb over some final details.
We're quite pleased with the cast! Please do listen!
I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention from the board, though.
Our theory combines different assumptions, one being the dwindling of excitement from when the project was first announced. But, Marc and I are happy that yt continues to generate views; at least people are watching if not replying. (*^^*)
It's funny how you say "always been" when this is actually our first dub.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this episode in one go! It was like sitting down to watch a show and one that I was excited to watch! (I've never seen Tokimeki other than this one, btw, and I don't usually go for this type of show~)
Everyone's performances was awesome! Chell and Marc carried the episode as a dynamic duo, with Chell being so cute and innocent, and Marc being helpless at times and slowly liking Tsukasa (Chell).
All supporting characters were well chosen. Some stand-out/favorite performances of mine: Treg, Little Star, and Mippa. Treg's one line was GREAT! Little Star was sugary, cavity-inducing sweetness, and Mippa always has a lovely mature voice.
I still enjoyed everyone!
Production/sound design is something very few dubbers get on a first try and Starry Ai knocked it out of the ballpark! My only suggestion is to work on the footsteps, panning, fading them so that they will work a little smoother with the scene.
I apologize for taking so long in watching (in full) and reviewing but it was worth the wait! <3
