Introduction:

This is the casting For WildARMS the abridged series. An Abridged parody of the short Anime series Wild ARMS Twilight Venom (AKA Wild ARMS TV). One reason I chose this Anime specifically is because it's the only one that I have bought the entire collection of on DVD, but I also want to do it because I'm Wild ARMS fanboy.

About The Project:

I'm a huge fan of the Wild ARMS games. I've been into them since I was in middle school.. I started with the original game on the Playstation and I loved it! This project is really more of a personal thing. The goal of this project isn't JUST to entertain people, but also to give the Anime a wider fanbase. The goal of this abridged series is to make something respectable and entertaining out of WILD ARMS TV. Because of this I'm making it a requirement that anyone that tries out for a character must watch at least one episode with the character in it to get a feel for the character. The URL to watch episodes will be posted below.

Another goal of this project is to bring more traffic to the abridged underground forums. Because of this only odd numbered episodes will be uploaded to youtube. The rest will be posted as videos on the Abridged underground website.

Deadline: The deadline will be set for Nov 26 (Thanksgiving)

Recording: wav or mp3 files are both fine, but I'd prefer that the recording doesn't have noise. If your going to record lines I suggest you either download goldwave or audacity. I won't take any auditions that are recorded in windows sound recorder for obvious reasons. If your only trying out for one character or an additional character don't zip it. If your trying out for multiple characters (this is preferred) than please zip it.

additional information: Sheyanne, Kiel, Lorretta, Mirabelle, Jerusha, and Isaac, are introduced in episodes 1 and 2

ROOF leader Sabriski, Laila, and Valeria are introduced in episodes 13 and 16.

There are also a lot of filler characters in between that may be used for cameos.

I'm no voice actor I'm more of the director/sriptwriter type... I'm looking for at least 3 or 4 people that can play multiple roles without leaving a part. To be cast for a part you have to watch an episode with the character in it to get a feel for the character.

MAIN MALES


Sheyanne Rainstorm (pronounced SHY-Anne)




Voice type: Medium

character description : Sheyanne is a 25 year old in a “fake” 10 year old's body when he's not rambling on about how he wants to get his real body back, he's usually going down memory lane about his life as a sexual deviant before he was shot. Otherwise he's usually pointing out that he's the main character. (don't worry that's kind of downplayed) Sheyanne can use ARMS because he's a reincarnation of the evil race.

Audition Lines: (on how to get off the island) We're just going to have to wait until the next episode to come out in a couple of months. We'll surely be able to leave by then.

Fair Warning: Whoever who gets casted for Sheyanne should be willing to do a couple of crappy sex jokes. Thats NOT Sheyanne's entire character, and it's certianly NOT a constant theme I have a high amount of respect for Sheyanne as a character. I'm just giving you fair warning because this is part of Sheyanne's personality.

Kiel (Aka Dr. Arronox)



Voice type: low

Character Description: Kiel is a big, mysterious, soft hearted, fellow. He's a jack of all trades! He's a gunslinger, a scientist, a brain surgeon, a “Daddy”, and some people think he's a pirate, but he's mostly there to keep Sheyanne in line.

Audition Lines: (after being whipped) You seem to get huge boner for a person in pain. Your very sadistic little man aren't you?

Issac (Nickamed Isaku)



Voice type: high-medium

Character Description: Don't call him a mouse or he'll get on your case! Isaac is a 5000 year old Popepi Pipepo , which is a very rare breed of (???) that live for thousands of years and can speak a human language. He's Jerusha's ex husband and he denies that he loves her to the very end.

Audition Line: ugh.. of all the women why did it have to be her?

MAIN FEMALES

Loretta Oratorio



Voice type: Medium

Character Description: Loretta Oratario is treasure hunter and a thief and she's always hearing about new treasures to steal in her “otaku magazine”. She's friends with Jerusha and Mirabelle. She's also a “Crest Collector”,which basically means that she uses cards to cast magic.

Audition Lines: No that's not what I said! That goes against the moral code of an honorable crest collector! We can't just steal it from him! He's an honest, ordinary, guy and that would not be right!

Can I see your collection? I adore big guns..., but most of all I want you...



Mirabelle Graceland



Voice Type High-Medium

Character Description: Mirabelle is a crimson Nobel, which basically means she's a vampire. That's about it... She can turn into a bat... that's cool I guess...

Audition Lines: Audition Line: “Thats Scrum-diddly-umptious!! Gimmy that blood! I want more dammit! Gimmy, gimmy gimmy, gimmy!!”

It looks like your temptation tactic didn't work. It's probably because your wearing that tacky red jumpsuit.


Jerusha



Voice type: high

Character Decription: Jerusha is a Popepi Pipepo, which is a very rare breed of (???) that live for thousands of years and can speak a human language. Issac was her 5th husband. She's also friends with Mirabelle and Loretta.

Audition line: Oh no it's Isaku!

Voice type: high-Medium (british)

Character Decription: Laila is a woman from Sheyanne's past. She's a huge plot device. Many characters see her as the Goddess Laila from the myth about the war between The Goddess Laila and The evil King Kianu of the “Evil race”.She has two personalities one as Gina Angel and one as the Goddess Laila. Her character plays a very similar role to Maria from Sonic Adventure 2.

Audition Line: “Whose Laila? I don't know any Laila. My name is Gina Angel.”

Sabriski

gender: Male

Character Description: Sabriski is the leader of ROOF, which is the Wildarms equivalent of an intelligence organization like the CIA in the United States, or MOSSAD in Israel.

audition line: I suppose now you'll be telling me that he's a reincarnation of the evil race.. The study of myths and legends belongs to the archeologists not us

Irving Vold Valeria



gender: Male

Voice type: Medium (British)

Character description: Irving Vold Valeria is the Commander of Filgaia. He was voted in by majority of women voters because of his good looks! (yay for feminism!). Valeria believes that he's the savior of Filgaia. Valeria First appeared as a character in Wild Arms 2nd Ignition.

Audition Line: For now perhaps, yes, but once they have grown tired of me that will be my end; the public can be very cruel...just like a woman. (put emphasis on “just like a woman”)

Don't be afraid to try out for Sheyannne just because he's a guy. He's been voiced by women in both the English and Japanese Dubs so anybody can try out for him in my opinion.

Ive done my audition for Sheyanne and im going to edit the file and send it to you now ^^ i can do Multiple roles if needed but i didnt have time to audition for other characters. I also added lines to the audition. Not sure if its what your looking for though but meh.
