Legendary Guitar Productions Presents
Ever since I laid eyes on this game, I have been awed... in an awesome way! Because it's both (a) an awesome game, due to the graphical style and (b) shows the true authenticity of both the aesthetics and depth of the Japanese underworld that is the yakuza. Despite the VA in the game being top-notch (and to some... mediocre), this deserves to be fandubbed!
In a society where respect and honor holds great importance, there is an even higher regard for these traits within the one organization that is most feared by all: the Yakuza. Kazuma Kiryu - a former rising star in the Yakuza who is rebuilding his life after serving a 10-year prison term for murder - suddenly finds himself caught in a spiraling underworld plot involving a mysterious girl known as Haruka and a missing ¥10 billion ($100 million). Kazuma must use his fists and his wits to stay alive as he unravels the complex web of truth and lies that surrounds the notorious Yakuza.
WARNING! Clips may contain coarse language and violence.
Clip #1: Kazuma's Collection, Meeting & After-Meeting
In Part A, Kazuma Kiryu, known as "The Dragon of the Dojima Family" & his 'little brother', Shinji Tanaka, head to a office to collect a debt. Only to find that the people there won't go down without a fight...
Gameplay footage included.
In Part B, Kazuma bumps into a yakuza and beats him down... only to find that he belongs to a crazy brother by the name of Goro Majima, Captain of the Majima Family which is a subsidiary of the Shimano Family. Majima pounds on his enforcer as punishment, only to have the finishing blow thwarted by Kazuma. Of course, he gets a little lesson from the crazy brother. Afterwards, Kazuma goes to Serena to meet the lead hostess, Reina and one of his childhood friends, Akira Nishiki. The two talk before another childhood friend shows up... by the name of Yumi Sawamura. And the rest, they say... is history.
Gameplay Footage included. Once again, I paid a little tribute to M0mmyDearest (who has a new channel for all video game vids under StrikeArranges) for this clip.
Clip #2: Emergency Meeting of the Tojo Clan
A meeting is going on involving all members of the Tojo Clan. What is going on in this emergency meeting?
Clip #3: Troubles at Stardust
Kazuma arrives at a club called Stardust and gets a surprise before he goes in. Afterwards, the main host, Kazuki, meets with him and discusses what happened while Kazuma was locked away for 10 years. Just when important details are revealed, enemy yakuza enter the fray...
For this clip, I decided to add gameplay footage. Time to show what real Yakuza Etiquette is all about!
Clip #4: Yubitsume (the wrong way)
After being beaten up by Kazuma, Shimano's men report to their captain while the leader awaits his fate...
Clip #5: A Reunion Gone Wrong
Kazuma meets up with his oyabun, Shintaro Fuma. They talk, but just before Kazuma hears about what happened to Yumi, Fuma gets shot... now, things start to get edgy.
For this clip, I decided to add gameplay footage to show that Kazuma means business! Watch him serve the Tojo Clan Gangsters with Yakuza Etiquette!
Clip #6: 3 Men and a Stripper (a.k.a. My Lover's a Showgirl)
Kazuma & Yuya head to a strip club called Asia to watch Miyu (who is Yuya's girlfriend) perform... then they watch another show only to get a nasty surprise...
Gameplay Footage included. Once again, I paid a little tribute to M0mmyDearest (who has a new channel for all video game vids under StrikeArranges) for this clip.
Clip #7: Mean Streets
In Part A, Kazuma meets Haruka at a body-infested bar and they leave to find a puppy... being tortured by street thugs. After the brawl, some important details about Haruka are revealed...
For this clip, I decided to add gameplay footage. Time to teach those street thugs some respect!
In Part B, Kazuma and Haruka head to a bar called Ares in the Millennium Tower, and find some unpleasant surprises... including a soldier from the Omi Family...
Gameplay Footage included.
Clip #8: Sons & Daughters
Part 1: Kazuma heads to Purgatory to see what was wrong with Kage. Kage watches over his son, Takashi, at the batting cages and Kazuma learns that Takashi is running away with an oyabun's (yakuza boss) daughter.
Gameplay footage included.
Part 2: Kazuma heads to Deborah only to be entangled in the affairs of the Atobe Family... and they don't take Kyoka & Takashi's getaway lightly...
I decided to pay tribute to M0mmyDearest by doing a little something in the middle of the clip...
Clip #9: Whores & Scores
In Part A, Kazuma heads back to Serena to find out what's wrong with Detective Date. It appears that her daughter is around, but he missed her meeting. Now, Saya (who is the daughter's name) goes off and does... odd stuff in the city... And it's up to Kazuma to set things right.
Gameplay footage included.
In Part B, Kazuma finds out that Saya was being used by Shota and they go to confront him and the loan sharks... to find that Detective Date stood up for Saya...
A little StrikeArranges touch is added here...
