Misfile - based on the webcomic by Chris Hazelton:

A filing error usually causes only minor problems - but when the filing clerk is a pot-smoking angel and the files are people's lives, a little mistake goes a long way. When 17-year-old street racer Ash finds himself suddenly female, and Emily wakes up the day after receiving her Harvard acceptance letter to discover that she's a sophomore again, they have more than a few issues to deal with. And Rumisiel, now banished from Heaven, has to try to set things right.

Episodes one, two, and three have been posted.

This audition is for the second main arc of the comic, dealing with the challenge to Ash from "Kamikaze" Kate, covering roughly pages 131-338 of the webcomic.

Note: the male roles all appear for the first time in episode 5; none of the female roles do.

Males:

Vashiel (major)

Age: centuries old, appears to be early twenties

Rumisiel's older brother, Vashiel is a true do-gooder, almost a Paladin. Physically incapable of lying or hiding truth, he gives the impression of being very naive, but he has a dark past. Comic ability is important for this role. Vashiel winds up living with the Uptons, and becomes a fourth to the existing main trio.

Age: 35

The mechanic who sold Ash her car, and helps her with spare parts and news of the local race scene.

Age: late 20s to early 40s

A somewhat jaded used-car salesman who tries to con Emily into buying a car based on his wishes rather than hers. Sleazy, but not a fast-talker.

Age: 25

After her older sister was forced over a cliff to her death 8 years ago, "Kamikaze" Kate has driven as one possessed. She jumps into races she's not supposed to be part of, never loses, and frequently runs other racers off the road into ditches, trees, or walls. She is the most feared racer around, and now she's gunning for Ash.

Age: 34

Emily's mother. She dropped out of high school when she became pregnant and her boyfriend abandoned her to raise their daughter by herself. She has pulled herself up and is now successful. It is largely her drive that has propelled Emily towards Harvard.

Age: 35

Ash's mother. A former lingerie model, she has moved into marketing. Living in Cape Cod, she came back into her daughter's life just four years ago, and visits occasionally. Appears in episode 9, and becomes much more important later in the story.

The ghost of Kate's deceased sister, driven to insane behavior due to the way she died. Has a supernatural clash with Vashiel and Rumisiel. Appears only in - and is largely the focus of - the climactic scene of the arc, in episode 11.
