Oyasumi Nasai follows the life of Hitomi. When she is studying with Taro one day, strange things start to happen and it leads them to meet Miyu and Renee. Somehow, Miyu is connected to the mana spring, the source of power for magic. As more and more people use magic, the mana is depleted slowly as is Miyu's lifespan. Hitomi and her friends must now try to save Miyu, but they find out that if the mana is depleted, not only will Miyu die, but the world will go into chaos. The mana disruption has already caused destructive creatures to appear and a few towns to go out of power. Hitomi possesses the power to restore mana but it will cost her life... is there anything else they can do to save the world

In between there are many battles, romances and betrayals. It is quite complected to explain, you'll just have to watch the final product. It's probably not very original, I'm not overly creative. There's probably a story somewhere like it, but I hope not... it took my little brain a while to think of this one.
