.Hack//G.U. Returner was a single episode OVA released to Japanese gamers who completed all three .Hack//G.U. video games.
The plot of the OVA is set into motion by an e-mail from a long missing player, Ovan. Following the e-mail's instructions, the other players enter a hidden festival area. Once there, the players reunite, encounter a monster, and learn that their former enemy, a program named AIDA, now wishes to live peacefully inside the game.

The OVA is 28 min long. Therefore, the number of lines for each character is relatively small and line recording won't take long.

Tabby has a fairly hyper personality. She seems to enjoy her cat-girl appearance and frequently uses cat noises to express emotion.

Throughout the first half of the OVA, Endrance shows little emotion and is absorbed with trying to find Haseo.

Sakisaka is very fond of using puns and other word games . He is generally a friendly helpful person, but he can also be very jealous and shows signs of having a bit of a temper. To those he considers friends he is helpful, but to people who have offended him he is almost impossibly disagreeable.
