A Pirate's Life For Me

Intro: Hey hey everyone! ^^ With the new year, I wanted to bring out a story I've been wanting to write for a couple years now. I love pirates and I love the concept of someone wanting to be a pirate but having absolutely no idea how to go about it. There will be pirate lingo, humor, drama and of course, piracy! Should be good times. I hope you all enjoy.

Story:
Melissa has always dreamed of becoming a pirate. Only problem is, she has no money, knows no one and has no idea how to even sail a boat. Plus, it's the 18th century and she's a girl. Not many people are pleased to give her a boat or even listen to what she wants. However, pirates are pretty much gone at this point in time, but she feels that the pirates need to live on! With the help of her parakeet companion who can secretly talk to her, she decides to dress like a man and get out on the wide blue ocean no matter what it takes!


This will be one long episode, maybe split up into two parts.


If you can talk like a boy, then I encourage all women to audition for male characters! ^^ Also, no accents are required, but if you'd like to try a British or English accent, go for it!
