Well, in the immortal words of Ben Kenobi, "Hello there." This is a casting call for the audio project, Star Wars: Marvels. This project was originally conceived of as an ongoing audio parody series. Eventually, it evolved into more of a PIXAR style- an action/drama with enough humor and parody elements to be funny, but still serious enough to be called a drama, not a parody. The first twelve episodes are being adapted here as a 'miniseries'- the first of potentially three, but the only one currently planned, and can stand alone if the project is never pursued again.
This is a large project, with 133 roles- and as of today, they have all been cast! However, there is still a need for vocal work- see below!

For those interested in contributing: Background vocals. These are more or less 'extras' used to enhance the scene and suggest that more than just the main scripted characters are involved. These will be credit under "Featuring the additional vocal talents of..." in the end credits. Feel free to attach them with auditions, send them in separately, etc.- I can use as many as I can get! The needed ambaince includes:
SCENES:
Sounds of farmers, battling flying predators attacking their village (hand to hand or with farming implements.)
Sound of Swoop-bikers being killed by blaster, falling, being crushed by rocks, or crashing
Sounds of villagers shouting in commotion to avoid being run over by a fast-moving speeder
Sounds of civillians running and screaming in panic during a mercenary attack.
Sounds of people running, screaming, and panicking as a paradise planet is struck by a major calamity; litteraly the end of the world.
Bounty hunters charging with a load cry.
Bounty hunters crying out in suprise, and being trampled by a stampede.
DIALOGUE:
A group of rebels/soldiers...
Chuckling/laughing at wisecracks during the mission briefing
Muttering assent.
Cheering, weakly, then more strongly, and finally triumphantly as they are 'worked up' by a pre-battle speech
Generally conversing and murmuring as they move out from the briefing area
Giving shouts of acknowledgement and salutes in response to an "Everybody ready?"
DEATHS:
Lots and LOTS of people being killed by blaster!!! Like, hundreds- they die by the bucketful!
People falling to their death from a high cliff/ledge/balcony
People being hurled around like rag dolls and savaged by an infuriated Wookie.
Other Miscellanious death cries.
So, if you feel like adding any or all of those into the mix, please feel free to do so- none will be turned away! You can either record them separately and label them for what they are, or just record a batch of multi-purpose screams and dialogue not specific to any given situation.
