Okay guys! This is an original radioplay that kinda spoofs all traditional fairy tales and 'damsel-in-distress' myths. It follows the misadventures of master spellcaster and infamous misanthropist Gabriel and his two assistants, the cheerful Illiana and clueless Xaxiel as they set out to rescue the gal and get the top dogs off their case. And maybe if they're lucky, they'll lose all of the mooches coming along with them! Sound like fun? It's gonna get wild!

The audition deadline for Gabriel, Illiana, and Xaxiel is July 23. Other characters will be given deadlines at a later date.

Name: Gabriel
Age: early 20s
Bio: A powerful spellcaster that's just as well known for being a grump as for being extremely good at what he does. Very sarcastic, but pretty goofy and definitely not the kind people take seriously, despite power.

Name: Xaxiel
Age: 16-17
Bio: One of Gabriel's apprentices, Xaxiel has a chronic case of Head-in-Clouds. He's a nice person, if a little out of it. He's got a definite obsession with Princess Arin, and needless to say Gabriel uses that as a platform to get him to do his dirty work.

Name: Rastefale
Age: ageless
Bio: A messenger to the Elder Gods who lived with Tsuki and Hoshi. Pops up from time to time to deliver news or heckle the adventuring group. Quietly pining after a long-time love that's been away for years.

Audition line 1: (smugly) Nice one, Spell-Monkey.
Audition line 2: (boredly) Watching you guys is like watching grass grow.

Name: Tsuki
Age: early 20s
Bio: Hoshi's brother, and a self-taught martial artist. Helps his brother and Rastefale in taking down various things the Elder Gods consider to be threats. Goofy and arrogant almost to a fault. Engaged, though his fiance is away on a bridal journey.

Audition line 2: (sadly) Sure I miss Kraly... But one of these days, some day soon, the journey'll end and we can get hitched.

Name: Hoshi
Age: early 20s
Bio: Tsuki's brother, and the Great Dragon servant to the Elder Gods. A quiet person who enjoys various cultured pursuits like piano-playing and literature. In a long-term relationship with one of Tsuki's fiance's attendants.
Voice type: Medium-high (can be played by a girl)
Audition line 1: (surprised) Oh, you're the ones sent after the Princess?
Audition line 2: (nervous) I think you have the wrong dragon--guy! I mean guy!

Name: Azarael
Age: early 20s
Bio: The man who kidnapped Arin. Has been a rival of Gabriel's for a long time. Cheerful, in a vaguely odd way. Not much else is widely known about him.

Name: Donik
Age: 16-17
Bio: Senna's husband-to-be. A Turin warrior known for his easy-to-spark temper. Despite said temper, he's never been known to be harsh to Senna or those she associates with frequently, though he will loathe without mercy anyone who Senna dislikes.

Audition line 2: (coldly) Little girls should not meddle in the affairs of grown-ups.

Name: Illiana
Age: 15-16
Bio: One of Gabriel's apprentices, and a hopeless romantic. Illiana is a cheerful girl who is forever trying to find the good in people and situations. She's also the only reason Gabriel and Xaxiel still have clothes, being the seamstress of the group.

Name: Princess Arin
Age: 16-17
Bio: The token damsel-in-distress, Arin has been kidnapped in order to cripple Althanon, her kingdom. She is the keeper of a powerful magical relic, and is exceptionally strong-willed despite the fact she got kidnapped.

Name: Laea (AKA Lady Christa)
Age: mid 20s
Bio: A bandit leader who makes a killing by acting like a court lady being 'attacked' by bandits. A brash and boisterous woman, she's strong in battle and has no patience for Gabriel's misanthropic ways.

Name: Lady Senna
Age: 15-16
Bio: The Queen/tribe leader of the Turin people, of the Turin Desert. A very cheerful girl who loves all of her subjects, and does everything she can to make life better for them. Has no tolerance for any of the group associated with the rescue of Princess Arin, especially Xaxiel.

CASTED TO: River Angel Odin

Age: 19-20
Bio: Senna's older cousin and bodyguard. She doesn't like talking, but has no problem yelling at people when she thinks they're being idiots.

Audition line 2: (angrily) NAKTA! Can't you people do anything right!?

Name: Yenne
Age: 17-18
Bio: Senna's best friend and attendant. Yenne is very shy, and very sweet. Her devoted nature makes it easy for people to get attached to her, and she has a list of potential husbands half a mile long.

Okay, most people put the roles here. I'm not, because there are a lot of additional characters. Instead, I'm going to ask for volunteers for the extra roles, which range from barmaid to monster. Just give your preference as to what kind of extra you want to be, or ask for available parts. You're pretty much assured a part as one. XD

Just a note guys: This is going to be a REALLY interactive process. You're going to be expected to keep in touch with me throughout the entire process of doing your lines so we can make sure you're not having trouble with pronouncing things or with the general mood of a line. If you don't quite fit the mold for the character, I'll either tell you to do it again and then see where we are or I'll put you in the role-waiting-pool until the deadline, then pick the best in the pool. However, if I positively adore your voice for the role (like in the case of everyone who's already casted), I will snap you up then and there. =3
