Project Information: Hello, everyone! This project is for an audio books of the Genbu Kaiden mangas. Currently, there are five mangas out, so this is going to be a long term project. If you aren't reliable to turn in lines or tend to quit on projects, this is not for you. I am looking for serious voice actors and actresses only! Recording this project is going to be work, but it will be rewarding in the end. Afterall, I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to hear the story of the Genbu no Miko!

Anyways! On with the information!

Story: This exciting prequel to the best selling fantasy series Fushigi Yuugi tells the story of the very first priestess of "The Four Gods"--- the Priestess of Genbu!

When schoolgirl Takiko Okuda attempts to destroy her father's translation of "The Universe of the Four Gods," she is instead sucked into the story, becoming the Priestess of Genbu in an epic journey to find the seven Celestial Warriors.

Auditions are due by October 12th! However, if I get enough auditions, it will end early!

Age: Approximately 16
Voice Type: Medium high
Bio: A beautiful, yet cruel, boy. Always insists that Genbu must absolutely not be summoned. His weapon resembles a whip, but is made out of what looks like nunchuku. He is constantly wearing a smile on his face (even when he is brutally killing someone) and is not one to be underestimated in battle. Speaks very politely, almost like a woman.
Line 1: [curious] Is it true that the Genbu priestess has come to Hokkan?
Line 2: [Happily] Kutou has ordered me to kill you and the celestial warriors!
Line 3: [Unamused, yet calm, trying to calm him down] Hien, please.

Hien
Age: Approximately 16
Voice Type: Medium (Rough)
Bio: A violent, hot-tempered boy. He is very mistrustful and is usually seen with Shigi.
Line 1: [In a furious, but calm voice] You're...rather late, Taki.
Line 2: [In a good mood] Prince Bohui has given us our own assignment.
Line 3: [Arrogantly] -This- is celestial power? It's child's play!

Hagus
Age: Estimated around early to late 20s
Voice Type: Medium to Medium lowish
Bio: Hagus comes across as a cold hearted, merciless man whose only desire is to succeed in his mission to kill Uruki. Unlike the other enemies of Takiko and the Genbu warriors, Hagus does not show much emotion. He is able to stay very calm and focused, even in battle. He seems to have a more compassionate side. When he isn't in battle, he remains very quiet with an almost depressed expression on his face.
Line 1: I found you.
Line 2: [Calmly and coldly] Go after Uruki. Kill the others if they interfere.
Line 3: [Forcefully, but still a little quiet.] I...will take your head.

Hatsui
Age: 12
Voice Type: High (Female voice prefered)
Bio : Hatsui is a Genbu celestial warrior. He is a timid and chubby youngster of twelve. His parents died when he was nine and Hatsui had to face bullies on his own. Due to the abuse, he accidentally unleashed his celestial power for the first time and ended up killing many people. It was to defend himself, he had never meant to harm anyone, so he ran away from his village and secluded himself in the mountains. Sometime later, a woman named Fen discovered him there and befriended him.
Line 1: [Sadly and scared] I-I knew it. Y-You came here to b-blame me.
Line 2: [Angrily] Th-That was...th-THEIR fault!!
Line 3: [Crying] Sh-She was nice to me...My only friend.
