That was another great one, Maria. Everyone did really great and mixing was as great as always. I'll probably add more ta this later, but for right now I still find it funny how I appearently play 2 people, was credited as 2 of my names and I know I only recorded for 1 of them, lol.

Demo / Project Blog / My Karaoke Listing / Art
Voice: Highschool of the Dead / Evangelion / Angel Beats / Umineko Ep 26 / Hakuouki / Dragonaut / Ichiban Ushiro

Wow, this was a very dynamic trailer. Without visuals, I think audio trailers are one of the hardest things to make interesting. Because this is a professional quality production, I'm reviewing the cast with professional standards. Please keep that in mind when you read my ridiculously nit-picky responses. (Never again am I reviewing this large of a cast. *dies*)

Maria, could you post the cast list in order of appearance? I think that would make future reviews easier.

Narrator - Really nice. I don't think I've had the pleasure to listen to your acting before. You have a nice command over your voice with steady and mature emotion that is perfect for this character.

Perry White: Kyle Hebert - Great! Very natural. You sound like you are an important person (I don't know who this character is) but what I mean is that you sound like a boss. A very fitting voice.

Jimmy Olsen: Brandon Baus - Your first line was nice but the lines in the end of the trailer sound better fitted for a cartoon.

Superman/Clark: Shock Dingo - Good voice but you don't have the maturity in your voice that I was hoping for. I'm not sure how old Clark is during this script, but I think you can push yourself a little more. The lines in the later part of the script sound forced. I feel like you're trying to sound like a superhero and don't believe you are a super hero. If that makes sense? "Lois, whatever happens I will always love you" has got to be my favorite line from you. Now, that sounded like a hero. Good fight sounds and a very charged scream in your last line.

Lois Lane: Maria Vu - Woah. I have not heard a voice like this come out of you before. It's so fresh, so real! This is good. *__* This is my favorite voice. I'm very impressed with the honesty of your acting. Your lines in and after the the helicopter topped out at parts, watch out for that with future recordings. Especially your "clark!" yell. The 'oh my god Jimmy" line sounded unbelievable. I wasn't feeling your terror.

Kat Grant: Amby leigh - Haha. This was so awesome. It really sounded like a news report. Good job. It's tough to get those announcer voices to sound real without overacting.

Lex Luther: Jamal - Nice. You sound creepy and evil. Are you? I definitely believe you're a stressed out CEO.

Supergirl: Kate Peterson - Some lines are slurred "maybe I should go and help out". Are we in a cave? 0_o Voice sounds too cute later in the trailer. Too cartoony.

Lex Luther 2: Masako-kun - Good acting. HOT accent. What more is there?

Jack Ryder: Kevin Connolly - Nice! You sound like a sports announcer. Awesome. I love the urgency in your voice.

Announcer: Stevie - Hmm.. a bit young sounding and a little forced. Next time, try to sound more reserved and less energetic.

Student 1: Tamtu Bui - The quality on your lines is a little off. Not sure if this is you or Maria's mixing. Short line, hard to give feedback on. Good for a one-liner.

Student 2: Kirbopher - Nice. Again, hard to say much.

Doomsday: Kyle Hebert - That's high quality growlage my friend.

Ice: Azure - The sound quality of your lines could be better, they are a bit staticy. Your acting is good but sounds forced (like a Sailor Moon call to fight evil). The first scream with Doomsday isn't convincing enough. But you had a nice "I just hit the wall" thud/scream.

Mother: Michelle Ann - Nice, even voice. Definitely a mother.

Boy: Rikun - Good voice but your line is a bit overacted. You sound perfect for an anime dub, for the feeling of this audio play, try sounding less cartoonish.

Woah Dude (Seiyru?) - Nice. I like your excitement. XD

Lucky bastard (Menchi?) - Haha. Good stuff. I'd like to hear more.

Love this neighborhood - Not much to critique but from the one line I heard, try enunciating more.

Guy Garner: Treg - Watch the sound quality on your lines. The "shook it off" topped out on my speakers. Also, don't force yourself to sound gruff and angry.

Fire: Mindy-chan - Woah. At first I thought you were Ishtar! The acting sounded forced here too. I'm not quite sure how to give advice for more realistic emotion since I've never been in a giant evil villain eating my city sort of situation before. Again, the sound quality of these lines are lower. I'm thinking this is a production issue and not the voice over mics.

Maxima: Ishtar - Good. I haven't heard you do a voice quite like this before. I'm excited to hear more. Watch out for that annunciation with the beginning of your first line "Even a warrior of that caliber"

Bloodwyd: Sukisho - Hmm, I don't know what this character should be like but your emotion was really robotic and as a result, bland sounding. If you're supposed to be like that, great job! If not, try adding more rhythm to your voice for next time. Also, the sound quality of your lines was off... almost as if I heard a slight echo with your voice.

Blue Beetle: Hikuro - Nice. Not much to review. But I like what I hear.

Booster Gold: Nick Tiner - Good stuff. I loved the energy behind your "alright ugly" line. You and Blue Beetle sound *really* similar. I wouldn't be able to tell you were different characters if I didn't have the script with me right now.

House woman - Good frantic woman sound.

Boy help - hmm. A bit cartoony sounding. Is this Rikun?

Reporter: chrnogirl - You certainly sound like a reporter but I think you need to work on this more. I can tell you are a younger than your character. Younger females have a tendency to push their words together and speak quickly. Try slowing down and enunciating more.

Fran: Kit Uwell - Hehe. You sound southern. A good start but I think you can work on your emotion more.

SCU Unit - Nice. Is this Nick T.?

GBS Reporter - You sound more like a teenager and less like a professional reporter. Is this Chinomi?

Credits - Stevie? I didn't like these at all. The pronunciation was inconsistent. The voice sounded immature... no offense but this is not an ending voice I'd expect for the mature-sounding cast I just heard.

Production - This is great. You are improving so much Maria. Wonderful casting choices and a very fluid script. A pleasure to listen to. One small thing, is the older Lex Luther from Australia? If so, it would have been nice to hear an Australian accent with the voice. Also, some parts of the trailer had reduced sound quality. I'm not sure why this happened but watch out for it with future productions. Let's see... what else.. ah, your "superman!" line for Lois was a bit delayed, dissolving the excitement of Superman coming to save Lois. To end on the positive, the best things about this are your ability to convincingly handle such a freaking HUGE cast and have them sound relatively the same with their mics. And, those crazy sfx with the city being destroyed.

Yep I can do that as soon as I get home today. ^^

I hate panning sometimes..lol

Oh my only comment on Lois is...she is not actually terrified in the beginning of this. More like..."WTBEEP THAT THING IS AT THE DAILY PLANET?" Hard to explain..her face in the comic looks like she doesn't believe it. Then she has the whole.."If I freak out over Superman and I am engaged to Clark, people will think that is weird" issue. lol

Hehe, thanks for the nice words my PA VA! As for the whole news reporter thing... it helps a lot that I WAS one for a while. Not one of my happiest jobs ever, but I was the "Wacky World News Reporter" for my college’s Public Access television station, so all of Northeastern PA could see me talking about Japan making pillows in the form of a man for single women to sleep with at night.

I love this production Maria! All your work sounds so great and you are great to work with as well. I find nothing wrong with it ^.^ Everyone is great and it's put together great as well. Keep it up!

Come on va's... with a cast this large Maria deserves more feedback. Plus, I didn't write up detailed reviews to practice my typing skills.

Yeah lol I do have a problem of talking fast and you caught me. I'm only 17 lol Thanks you the suggestion XD I'll try harder next time.

Overall I LOVED it just as much as our Superman RP. The only problem I did have were the sound quality of Azure's lines...they were kinda muffled and stuff. But other then that *2 thumbs wwwwaaayyy up*

Yeah I really know nothing about him myself but the sorta dead sound that I gave him is what Maria said he should sound like so that's what he got ^_^ As for my sound quality.. It always comes out a bit weird when I speak in those deeper voices like he had and I still don't know why that happens.
