Radioplay [Fyrestarter] Neko Majin Z Episode 3 - 01-29-2006, 02:23 PM

NEKO MAJIN Z 3

Neko Majin Z is a self parody manga by Akira Toiryama author of Dragon Ball/Z and Dr Slump. Neko Majin ran for 5 chapters in the Japanese version of the famous manga magazine shounen jump and is also available in book format. NMZ makes lots of fun of DBZ, with the main character Z the Neko Maijin being not too far from Db's hero Son Goku. Please note like many Toriyama manga, there may be some adult situations and jokes. We hope you enjoy our audio adaptation, please keep the txt file in the .zip with the file.

Last time on Neko Majin Z! Z a fought Frieza's son Kureeza, the match was prosponed so the cast settled down to play football ,but who is that on his way it can't be Vegeta can it?!!

Oooh, downloading right now! Haha, that was awesome! Everybody did so well and the whole radioplay was put together splendidly....now comes the review:

Mindychan - Hehe, you sound cool as the kid! Indeed a very good performance. Certainly had something Toriyama to it I think.

Masako-kun - Well, it was great to do this voice. I was worried I couldn't hold it up for long periods of time but I proved myself wrong!

Azure - Kureeza's voice is so hilarious! Plus your cameo was very cool...and brief. Still, very well done! ' ';

Treg - The narrator's so cool with his offhand attitude. Nice one!

Wpt1031 - A very good Onio. It's a little quieter than the previous voice, but it's still very similar. Well done.

Oz - Awesome Vegeta impression. It's a lot harder than most would think as you have to maintain it. Good job!

Mixing - Nicely done. There were some abrupt cuts in some places but other than that it was great. Well done!

Storyline: From my experience, action is VERY difficult to mix in a radioplay because there's no visual aid. With the last three Neko Majin Z productions, you've pulled this off quite well, Azure! I could pretty much know what's going on without having to read the script.

Mixing: Your mixing is getting better and better! Barely any clicks, save for one or two (hey, they slip in there from time to time), but I noticed some of the lines cut off quickly, excluding the times when a character was cut off by another or some sort of action was cutting off a character's speech; it wasn't too bad, just here and there. Mostly, the HUUUGE blasts of power could've been turned down a notch. I don't know if you were wanting that effect of the noise making me jump out of my chair, but that's what happened XD I looooved the music! Very nice blend of music and it didn't drown out any actors or sound effects. ^^

VA Performance(s):

Mindychan-Kid~ My favorite line: "..you lost the ball and we don't have another! THIS SUCKS!" Hehehehe. I adore this character even though he's a brat.

Masako -Z~ Welcome our new Z! Hehehe, I love the voice you used ^^! I had no problems with it and you did very well!! Bravo!!

Azure-Kureeza +herself~ Creeeepy lil Kureeza @__@; That voice makes my skin crawl (in a good..bad way) and is sooo evil. Shame on us actors knocking you out though! Haha, no raises for us!

Tregatron -Narrator~ LOL, brilliant. Lazy lil man playing his video games. Your acting sounds so natural, too!

Wpt1031-Lord Onio~ Onio (I did add an "n" to that to spell "Onion", lol) was whiny enough but your lines were relatively quiet compared to the rest of the actors. Very nice job!! You had a lot of lines that made me giggle/laugh ^_^

Oz-Vegeta~ Oh, wow-- EERILY close to the pro Vegeta's voice, XD Just with Onio(n), your performance gave me quite a few laughs. Spectacular job... even though your character's really a wuss.
