Greetings everyone,

Yes Menchi returns for his somewhat much belated 2nd Chapter in the Dogs OVA

Note - a few changes, most notably changing Seiyru to Jared for Badou, and a couple of recastings for the Henchman, but other than that, s'all good ^^

Chapter 2 - Gun Smoker

Chapter Guide -

Badou Nails, a red haired, chain smoking, freelance journalist, who's takes an incriminating picture of a crime boss, but before his henchman kill him, he's saved by Mihai, but are slowly trapped in Kiri's bar, surrounded by the crime bosses men, for only Badou to unleash hell, by way of not smoking

Ah, this was interesting, considering I didn't actually watch the whole anime through in Japanese before listening to this so it was like watching it the first time
There were a few parts that seemed a little iffy (mostly in part 1, for example the scene where there's nothing really happening, but that might have been the same way in the original.) I'm blaming youtube for the few video glitches.

Voices I thought were overall good.
Mindy-chan matched most of the time aside from one of her final lines that sounded a tad younger than her character actually looks.
Kudos to you Menchi for pulling off the old man voice. xD It's always fun to hear you in different roles.
Happy to see Seiryu in something again because he's darn awesome, and if he's reprising that role in the next episode I'm quite stoked.

I've never heard any of the other people in the cast, and I've been pleasantly surprised. Sarifus was probably my fav. over all (I'm a sucker for the evil sexy boy type), and VoiceBox handled his part well. Sad to say I couldn't really tell where Tiggerroo was, so... ._.; eep. As for moi.. I seriously thought the kid was a boy, but it was labeled schoolgirl in moi script so I was like "um, what?" xD; sorry if that failed.

If there was any complaint I had for the voices, it was how sometimes the Mihai/Ian interaction sounded a little odd. Separately the voices were good, but I think they clashed just a little during that final scene instead of playing off each other. The whole scratchy-smooth contrast?

Regardless, great job Look forward to the next part.

yeh I'm pleased with how most of the voices turned out, if at times a little odd ^^

and it'll be good to see you back in chapter 2 aswell, and yes Seiyru will be back too =D

Awesome to see this finished! It was great to be involved =)
It could just be me, but one thing I was slightly dubious about was the music at Ian's death scene. I dunno, it seemed a little out of place. But if you couldn't get the original track that's understandable.

Anyway, otherwise very enjoyable. It was interesting hearing your take on Mihai as it was fairly different from the Japanese. I think it worked nicely though =) The other cast members did great as well!

yeh I was hard pressed to find the OST, I think it's fairly recent, so that may be why,

and yeh I tried a little bit different than the Japanese dub, my Mihai wasn't so deep ^^
