Since Koivo and GreenGirl did such a wonderful job on the "This Is My Idea" dub, I asked them if they wanted to sing the song "Far Longer Than Forever". And, so here, it is!

Finally! This is done! I didn't know this would take so long, but now it is done!

There will be a video of this song dub also, but I am still editing that- will be up soon! Anyways, I hope you guys like it. =) Any comments appreciated.

My jaw just HIT THE FLOOR!

This is so amazingly well done. Definitely an improvement from the draft I heard.

The timing is better and actually, volume levels improved somewhat... but it starts off quieter at the beginning of the song and gets considerably louder as the music swells. I understand somewhat but it's still a bit much in terms of difference.

And there's one part where the music track has a major click... during one of Koivo's well-sung scenes. ;D Shame. The teen Derek was also a bit loud during his part with Bromley. Refi's voice was a tad drowned out.

That's about all I can really say... the rest I understand.

Young Derek/Pre-teen Derek - Tinker Jet: Wow. You didn't make my ears bleed... THIS time!

Young Odette - Zelina: Your voice was a bit low for Odette to start... but I was amazed at how well you were able to hit the notes! Not bad... but don't forget Odette's a child. Yes, she's a princess... but young children are pretty tone-deaf when they listen to themselves talk. XD

Queen Uberta - eile-monty: Very nice. o__o You sounded like the original. Holy heck. Well done.

King William - Doccy: You gave the king your own take and your voice was amazing. =3

Pre-teen Odette/Teen Odette - Kairi: I was really shocked at how close to the original you sounded. Way to carry the character over.

Bromley - Refi-chan: YOU'RE A GIRL?! HOW? SORCERY, I TELL YOU! XD SHE'S A WITCH! GET HER! Nah. Seriously. Your Bromley was way too perfect for your own good.

Teen Derek - snowfender: Oh, that teen Derek. He makes me swoon.

Adult Derek - Koivo: Hi Koivo. XD You managed to sound like a mature prince charming. Good job!

Adult Odette - GreenGirl: You sounded like the original. HOW?!

I was impressed, I thought there wasn't a karaoke for this and expected to hear the orig voices in the bg, but the music sounded clear, consise, and only the voices we added (except for the chorus ensemble) were heard! Great job on that!

I liked the growing up transition with the voices! The adult Odette starts singing and its like @.@ Wow! She grew up! (I know this happens, I've seen the movie dozens of times *or hundreds lol* but w/o the visuals I guess I kinda forgot, so it was nice to 'hear the pictures')

Can you guys imagine how we'd blow them away if we actually were all together singing this? (blending with each other, ie rhythms, were probably the one thing I'd like improved on this-which is hard to match up when singing online)


Tinker Jet: I love the craky-youthful voice you gave little Derek ^^

Zelina: The quiver on 'here' from "so happy to be here" was a nice touch I thought ^^

eile-monty: You're Uberta voice is so animated <3 It makes me smile, and love the little vibratos!

Doccy: The king's voice matches his gray beard! XD He sounds old, I guess with a slight quiver you gave his voice?

Kairi: Fun transition between the pre-teen and teen! from that younger to a wee bit more mature!

snowfender: The quality sounds a bit muffled from the preceding lines, but your singing reminds me of the boy voices I have in my Hiei in RainbowLand Musical project! <3

Refi-chan: I may be a bit muffled in my quality to match yours XD it's a boy puberty thing isn't it?

Koivo: *swoons at harmony of "every June until September" and "dreaming of"* esp on the dreaming of, I LOVE male harmonies!!! *faints in bliss*

GreenGirl: As I said afore, O.O Such a mature sound!!! That was so cool!

Awwww ^/////^ score! Thanks for the compliment! I love singing tenor, so to be told I make a convincing guy (esp when I don't have a guy singing right next to me to blend with) really means a lot! (I guess the how is sitting in the tenor section for years due to lack of tenors)

ok. OMG.

Snowfender, I remember you holding auditions for this and I've been waiting EAGERLY FOR THE OUTCOME AND OMG.
this turned out to be AMAZING. All the voices fitted all the characters so good, I was really surprised!!

I like how Tinker Jet started out as the voice of that little brat and also did the pre-teen version, both sounded SO cute.
The couple you cast for uberta and william was awesome too, they sounded SO MUCH like the original version.
I liked everyone who was in this song dub - everything came together really neatly and everyone did such a great JOB it's just, WOW!!!

And I TOTALLY LOVE koivo and GreenGirl's performance, they make a perfect odette and derek. (They SOOOO should do that duet song, For longer than forever =3 *dies in anticipation*)

You did a wonderful job yourself too, casting and mixing was awesome =D
There was just this little issue with the sound getting suppressed too quickly whenever someone would start singing so it was very noticeable. But really, what an insanely awesome dub <3

Haha. You were louder than pre-teen Derek... XD but I meant when teen Derek starting singing... like... what I think happened was mine was there first and every voice started overlapping mine. Snowfender appears to be the last to add vocals... so they were made to be a bit overpowering... XD Common rookie mistake is not being able to keep track of normalizing between when adding the first vocals and putting in the last few. (I, myself have done that many a-time.)

I just wanted to expand my thoughts a little on the dub!

Young Derek: Tinker Jet - I love the little vocal slide/voice crack that you gave young Derek had on "I bet she doesn't wrestle, hunt or box". It was cute.
Young Odette: Zelina - Nice work sounding disdainful towards Derek here, yay!
The only thing I had to say otherwise about this beginning was that the harmony between young Derek and Odette was a little bit off key. Other than that, great!

Queen Uberta: Eile-monty - What a fun voice you gave the Queen! I really like the rolled 'R's you used during "she soon will be arriving"
King William: Doccy - I thought that you had a fun quarkiness you gave the King, it suited the character well
Pre-teen/teen Odette: Kairi - Good transition between the two ages! I thought you sounded a lot like the original.
Bromley: Refi-chan - Yay for Bromley! Good job sounding all boy-ish and cool. You made me smile!
Teen Derek: Snowfender - Really good job! I especially liked how annoyed you made him sound when losing at cards.
Adult Derek: Koivo - I really liked your harmonies, and your entire performance was done well! Thank you for being my singing buddy!

Thank you everyone for all the great feedback on my performance as well! It was so much fun and I'm so happy with the outcome!
