Introduction/About the Radioplay:

The original Code Lyoko is about four students of the boarding school, Kadic Junior High Academy - Jeremie/Jeremy Belpois, Ulrich Stern, Odd Della Robbia, and Yumi Ishiyama - leading double lives as virtual heroes in the world of Lyoko and as boarding (or day students, in Yumi's case) students of Kadic Academy. The series basically follow their adventures as they try to rescue both a virtual being trapped in Lyoko - Aelita - and both the worlds of Lyoko and Earth from a virtual being bent on world domination: X.A.N.A.

In this radioplay, the main story takes place several years after the original series' end, where Jeremie and Aelita are a couple attending INRIA, Ulrich is the soccer coach of his old Junior High school, Yumi is a private vocal teacher, and Odd is a street painter and a part-time gymnastics instructor.

After Aelita gets into a car accident just outside of INRIA campus, she is rushed to the hospital in Boulougne-Billancourt - 2.3 miles outside of Paris - for trauma treatment.

Waiting in the lobby of the hospital with minor injuries from pulling Aelita out of the wrecked car, Jeremie makes a call to Ulrich, whom he had lost contact with for over 10 years. Yumi is contacted through the hospital as Aelita's emergancy contact, and Yumi passes the message onto Odd, who joins in the rush to reach the hospital. There, they meet again and discover that fate has decided for them to stay together...

"Voices of Lyoko" is a 26-episode radioplay production. It was created to cover up plotholes in the original storyline, such as Project Carthage and character background stories. These fan-written stories are presented as flashbacks of the adult Code Lyoko characters, each episode containing one memory through the eyes of one adult character.

Jeremie Belpois: Age 26-28

Bio: Calm, witty, often on edge. A graduating student at INRIA with Aelita, he is famous at the institute for his frequent anxiety attacks during and inbetween classes from a hidden source of stress. After Aelita gets into a car accident outside INRIA campus, Jeremie and Aelita are reunited with their friends from Junior High after 13 years.

4 - (narrarating) "Sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can still hear the voices of my past, ringing in my ear..."

Waldo Schaffer:
Description: grey hair, round-rimmed glasses, gray beard, broad-shouldered, fairly short.
Age: Late 40's-Early 50's
Bio: Father of Aelita Schaffer, Husband and buisness partner to Antea Schaffer, most well-known for working on Project Carthage and eventually Project XANA. Cares deeply for his family, dreamer, can be serious when forced to.
Role: Major, one-episode guest
Vocal Range: Low to Medium low

2 - (happily, almost dreamily) "That was truly a blessed day... I remember the first time I saw you there, working at that computer across the room... I was certain I'd never seen anything more beautiful than you..."

Bio: Aelita's Quantum Physics professor
