Alright everyone, its time to start casting for this summer's Save the Shows production: Firestorm!

We've got a lot of roles to cast so I'm sure there is something here for you if you're interested. Priority Casting goes to existing actors/actresses of course simply because they've already been through this for their characters. (If you are an existing STS actor please just post your commitment to your role(s), no need to audition again.)

PLEASE NOTE: Firestorm is a long-running serialized story to be put out in Podcast form over the summer. Auditioning implies a willingness to be cast, if you are cast you will be expected to produce lines regularly throughout the story. We realize this is asking alot and in most cases we are very understanding about delays as long as you warn us. If you know you will be gone for awhile we will advance you your lines so that we can stay on schedule etc. With all that said why not peruse our list of characters to see if any fit you. Voice Type: Dark, demonic or raspy
Bio: Jake's Arch Enemy and the main antagonist of the Firestorm Trillogy.
Line 1: evilly "Patience my servant, in a few short hours the American Dragon will be mine."

Name: Sun Park
Gender: Female
Age: Young Adult
Voice Type: Mild Korean Accent, warm and caring.
Bio: The Korean Dragon and Haley Long's Dragon Master.
Line 1: Encouraging "Very Good Haley, now I only need you to do the same thing perfectly 999 more times."

Name: Susan Long
Gender: Female
Age: Middle Aged
Voice Type: Motherly, able to be stern
Bio: Jake's Mother, her dragon heritage skipped her generation.
Line 1: stern "Jake, do I even want to know what happened last night?"

Name: Johnathan Long
Gender: Male
Age: Midle Aged
Voice Type: Goofy, high pitched,
Bio: Jake's human father who does not know about his Dragon heritage.
Line 1: Happy "Howdy-who Jakeroo!"

Name: Rose's Mom
Gender: Female
Age: Middle Aged
Voice Type: Any
Bio: Rose's Mom, previously unheard on the show to allow for alot of fun in voice acting.
Line 1: motherly Rose! Your father and I were so worried about you.

Name: Rose's Dad
Gender: Male
Age: Middle Aged
Voice Type: Fatherly, Any
Bio: Previously unheard to allow for alot of fun and room for expansion in the role.
Line 1: shocked "What do you mean your Boyfriend's a dragon?"

Name: Spud (Arthur P. Spudinski)
Gender: Male
Age: Teenager
Voice Type: slow and congested. Surfer or "dumb jock" style.
Bio: Spud is Jake's best friend and ally in his dragon duties although he has no powers of his own.
Line 1: Mellow "Wherever you go, the moon will always find you."

Name: Trixie Carter
Gender: Female
Age: Teenager
Voice Type: Hip hop-ish
Bio: An African American and close friend of Jake and Spud's, she is Jake's other side kick.
Line 1: concerned "Whoa dang Jakey, what happened to your arm?"

Name: Councilor Andam
Gender: Male
Age: Middle Aged
Voice Type: Deep, wise
Bio: Andam is one of the members of the Dragon Council.
Line 1: happy "Look councilors, the American Dragon sent us a cake."

Name: Councilor Kukulkhan
Gender: Male
Age: Midle Aged
Voice Type: Deep, possible accent
Bio: Kukulkhan is one of the members of the Dragon Councilor.
Line 1: sadly "Your dragon powers will be suspended for the period of one week. I am sorry."

Name: #88
Gender: Male
Age: Pre-teen, child
Voice Type: mid-deep, just out of puberty
Bio: 88 is one of the newest members of the Huntsclan along with 89. He is cocky and also African American.
Line 1: cocky "When I see my first dragon, Im'ma be all wassup fool, and he'll be all, no spare me mighty number 88!"

Name: Councilor Omina
Gender: Female
Age: Middle Aged
Voice Type: Calm, soothing, similar to a hippies
Bio: Councilor Omina is the Dragon of Atlantis and a World Dragon Council Member.
Line 1: imploring "American Dragon, Atlantis is in need of your assistance!"

Name: Kara
Gender: Female
Age: Teen ager
Voice Type: angry often and dull often
Bio: The oracle twin who sees only the good things. She sees life as borring because of this.
Line 1: dully "You're gonna win the lottery next week, whoopee for you."

Name: #89
Gender: Male
Age: Child, Pre-teen
Voice Type: high pitched, having not yet gone through puberty
Bio: 89 is one of the newest (and last) members of the Huntsclan. He like 89 is cocky. He is Caucasian and tall for his age.
Line 1: cocky "We sure showed that dragon didn't we?"

Name: Huntsmaster
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Voice Type: Deep, threatening (could be doubled by Dark Dragon)
Bio: The leader of the hunstclan, he only serves in flashbacks spaced throughout the story and would be an excellent second character for anyone auditioning for the Dark Dragon.
Line 1: Evilly "Huntsgirl! Hand me the skull and finish him!"

Name: Lao Shi
Gender: Male
Age: elderly
Voice Type: Chinese, elderly, wise
Bio: Former Dragon of China, now lives in New York. Jake's Grandfather and Dragon Master; teaches Jake how to use his dragon powers. His only friend is Fu Dog.
Line 1: as a teacher to his student "You must learn to master your dragon training, one step at a time. Even a young falcon must stand before it can fly."

Name: Sara
Gender: Female
Age: teenager
Voice Type: perky and happy to the point of extreme annoyance
Bio: One of the Oracle Twins. Always happy, but only sees bad events to come.
Line 1: perky and happy "Something really terrible's going to happen to you next week! Good luck with that! *insert annoying giggle here*

Name: Councilor Kulde
Age: Midle Aged
Voice Type: strong "Norway" accent, elderly, by-the-book (any accent will do.)
Bio: Dragon of Eruope and a member of the World's Dragon Council
Line 1: coucilor-ish, speaking to a dragon student "You will be put to three trials, each will test you on a different skill and standard of the dragon."

simple suggestion, if you want Sara why not try out for Kara as well, they're twins right so they should sound similar (except for the tone differences)

EDIT::: UPDATE: Due to, believe it or not, a typo on my part, the STS mail servers were down for an excess of 4 hours until just now. If you have sent any emails to our adresses in the past day or so and have not recieved a reply from me it is likely they were lost, please kindly resend
(hint: if you've deleted an attached file from your computer check your sent folder, the attachment will be on that email).

On the plus side, because of the change that brought on this error, all cast members will now recieve free email (you@savetheshows.com) provided by hotmail! Whooo!
