Wink YuYu Hakusho / Star Wars Parody ~ Hiei's Origin (Re-Mixed!) - 03-27-2008, 06:42 AM

As I often wonder who Hiei's father is, And my fav Star Wars reference in the media is "Luke I am your father" I thought of an interesting way to combine the two!

Script: Refi-chan
Mixing & Editing: Refi-chan and GizmoKat
Anime Clips: YuYu Hakusho
Audio: Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back
SFX: 100 SFX vol. 1

Hiei: CyberBanjo
Kurama: Legacyblade

Brought to you by Dare to Dream Fantasies

I do not own YYH or Star Wars and am not making any profit from this. I love and fully support the originals and their creators!

Explanation AFTER video is watched:
Spoiler:

Featuring: Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep FULL Secret Ending Dub

The one thing that popped out to me was the volume difference. Everything is all loudish, but then there's my low volume recording. You should work on normalizing the volume level, so people don't have to turn it up, then turn it down. Dunno why, but I'm a puritain about being able to leave the volume the same throught an entire production, being able to hear everything, without hurting your ears. If you do that, I wouldn't be able to see any flaws.

On my reaction. The only thing I thought was "OMG, MY VOICE IS COMING OUT OF SOME RED HAIRED ANIME DUDE!". I've never watched any episodes of YYH (or much anime at all, I don't have TV), so I don't really know how to comment on whether Kurama is Hiei's father or not.

I just put up a remix of it, hopefully the volume is more stabalized now! I understand when you're watching and you want to hear but not disturb others in the next room...but for this there had to be some dynamics, I mean Hiei's got to yell louder than Kurama speaks. But I still brought him down (and the opening music) and amped your line in Audacity (It was already at its loudest before on WMM) so it should be better now! (I really hope, XD This is like the second thing I've mixed)

Oh, and Legacyblade~ My online sister thought you sounded just like Kurama! Good job, esp for not being familiar with the series. The two characters are the most popular guys on the show, um they're both demons...and Kurama has been my personal favorite guy for nearly 4 years now XD As for your voice comming from such a hottie ^_~ aren't Fandubs great? lol I really REALLY appreciate you humoring me and doing the line!

Ok, the volume level is fine now. Good job amplifying my clip, it was WAY quiet. I can leave the level the same without blowing my ears out (I have those Ipod headphones).

I'm surpirsed you guys think I sound like that guy, though. His voice has less of a dusty sound, and it has more mature ressonance (both things I don't know how to change). But if I sound like him to others, that's fine with me! And he's a demon, WOOOHO, I love voice acting dark characters. anyways, I;m glad I can portray one of your favorite characters, it is awesome seing my voice come out of an anime dude.
