Honestly don't rely on online sites though =p, they make some nice extra cash but nothing more (still praying I get an agent one day eeeep xD)
you can find one yourself if you hunt those effers down >:3

also, I GOT MY ACOUSTIC FOAM TODAYYYY it was only 100 bucks for knock off auralex pieces of allll sorts, a bunch of different ones, sunbursts male and female, regular 2'x2' panels, and 2 bss traps, i'm trying to figure out how i should set them up now >.> ne advice? lol so far i have a female hugging my ceiling/wall above my closet door and a male under that that covers the rest of the space, and i still have room for my doors to open. I've decided once i'm done with these it's best i don't resell them nd instead give them to a friend or throw them away, they're already kind of battered, not badly, just i wouldnt think of them to last THAT long..

if i find n e thing for you i'll let you know :3
i think give it a year with NO breaks of va'ing and i MIIIGHT be ok to try nd get gigs. Badhabit of going back and forth between gaming and va'ing lol

Rockwool acoustic panels and bass traps would give you the best results. Since you already have the foam, maybe ditch the foam bass traps and make some rockwool ones for a mixed treatment of rockwool and foam. I've made a little diamond shaped enclosure of rockwool panels with two panels hanging from the ceiling to act as a cloud. It's not sound proof, but zero reflections and no box sound. All up, it came to under $200.

Anyway, you're totally taking the right approach by getting into acoustic treatment first and improving your gear second. Fancy gear in a crappy room still sounds crappy.
Check one-two on the microphone . . . samples are HERE.

that's pretty cheap. I"m not sure i'm up for making the rockwool panels though, i hear it's time consuming and possibly dangerous? I may ask a friend to help me with it who knows a little more about building things than me. But under 200, thats great! Where would i find the inners of a rockwool tho?

and ty it's cheaper this way too xD

I got Roxul RHT40 2" rockwool rigid sheets from a local building supply shop. It was cheaper than the OC703 sheets and gives the same results. Just search youtube for DIY bass traps or DIY acoustic panels. Very easy to make.

I found this thread. Someone else looking for rigid fiberglass in Seattle. Maybe that will help.
