  1. #1 Getting started
Just signed up, got questions for anyone willing to answer. Been wanting to get into online voice acting for quite some time, assuming it's a good idea to have some audio samples ready to go. What is a good website to upload audio files so that I can share them if need be, and what would you recommend putting on an audio sample meant to showcase what you're capable of?

Hey there! Several great hosting sites can be found over here in this thread http://voiceactingalliance.com/board...ting-Resources!

As for "what" to have in the sample, well most people usually make "demos" of what they are capable of sometime after they have gathered experience (from auditioning and being in projects). Usually it can be made up of things they've been in and/or just a range of voices and emotions.

Thanks for taking the time to respond! So if people usually make samples after they've done some auditions and/or projects, I guess it's generally a better idea to just go straight to auditioning?

No problem ^^ Yeah that's what most usually do. It's good to just get a feeling for this stuff by going right to auditioning.
