Hey there, VAA.
So I've been working on a second novel, and I'd like to turn it into a radioplay just as I'mattemptingto do with "The Red Wolf"
Unfortunately, since the book itself is currently a work in progress, I can't do a full project as of yet, but I would like to have a few scenes done as a "trailer" of sorts.
The premise of the book is that there's a group of kids who awaken in an unknown "Institute of Science" and are subjected to experimentation. We follow Megan Halpert (the primary story-teller/protagonist/romantic female lead) as she gets to know her fellow "inmates" and...well, continuing would give a lot away.

--Characters--
Megan Halpert- As stated above, Megan is the primary story-teller/protagonist/romantic female lead. She also serves as a narrator, due to the way the narrative is set up and also because this won't be visualized. Megan is a pretty average teenage girl, 17 years old. She's creative and clever, but also terribly naive and confused. She's also a really bad liar.
Oliver Thatcher- A geeky spaz with wide-eyed observations about "The Institute", Oliver becomes Megan's best friend in their prison, and also a main love interest. He's definitely more intelligent than most of the other kids there, and probably knows too much for his own good. But he also knows when to keep his mouth shut. Oliver's more than just the "Team Nerd" though. He also becomes somewhat jealous, and can have a short temper. Also 17.
Keith Carson- Who was once an arrogant worker for the system transforms to a compassionate and caring person who goes by the name of Keith. He also develops from just another guard to a love interest that rivals the sweetness of Oliver. That's right, I'm doing the cliche love triangle in which 2 boys rival for the lead's affection. Also 17.No vampires in this one, though
Justin Alder- A young boy, around 10, who tends to keep quiet and cling to Oliver. When he does decide to speak up, it's usually 10 words or less, and always something completely cryptic.
I put less on him because I think he has 1 line in all of the scenes combined.Fair warning
Nurse- This particular nurse has an overwhelming aura of sadism around her. Makes sense that she would be okay with working in a place that literally tortures children. Not a huge character, but she is seen for a considerable portion in one scene.
Charlotte "Charlie" Gonzalez- Snippy, sassy and rude all accurately describe Charlie. Everything she says is filled with attitude, and she won't stand for anybody trying to push her around. Or calling her Charlotte. 16 years old.
Kadee [Katie] Mattice- Kadee is a soft-spoken and somewhat airy/whimsical girl, around 15 or 16. She often finds refuge from reality inside her books. She also manages to off-set Charlie's brash attitude with her gentle one. Soft, quiet voice.
