mic broke! [new way to VA?]

Hey there! I have had this mic for ages and its nic name was "the dinosaur" well he finally went extinct when i tried to audition for a new dub.

so i was looking at the prices for a new one, well I am broke right now and can not get a good mic for cheap. so if anyone knows an AMAZING app i can use from my ipod to send in lines. can you let me know?

I have a friend and fellow VA who used to use her iPod mic to audition and record lined and it sounded completely fine (: What you need to do is record the lines, then transfer them to your computer and use Audicity's noise removal feature to fix everything up and make it sound clear.

thank you so much! do you know how she does that? do you just send it to your email? also how do you edit it? i have a software that helps with my mic sounding clearer but i dont think it works with downloaded tracks. what editing system do they use?

I think emailing them to yourself is fine. You need to download Audacity (just google it because it's a safe, free program) and there are tutorials on YouTube for using the noise removal feature. When I get the chance, I can send you that tutorial (I've given it to others before and it's been successful ^^)
