    While what you say is true, it at the same time is very contradicting either way you look at it. I do not believe it was very appropriate to be starting your preferences in a negative light, especially on a finished project thread. Being more constructive would have helped to get your point across a lot more. That is just my opinion.

    Well, think of it this way. If you had the choice to cast either me or Jason Marsden for a role, wouldn't that choice be immediately obvious to you? I don't think you've seen very much of my work, but you'd still pick Marsden without hesitation and you would be very confident in your choice even if you've not watched much of what I've done because Marsden is someone with an established record for making great work. Savannah has a similarly reliable track record for really making the most out of her performance, so I'm pretty confident in saying that she's better than a large majority of amateur actresses out there (though perhaps not all of them). Honestly, it was this sort of bias towards her that led me to this project in the first place. I don't even really like Yu Gi Oh, but I remember how much Savannah helped me during our 5 Centimeters Per Second dub, so I wanted to see what else she was working on.

    Like Ovarku said, be open to other takes. Especially when options are not open to you. Plus it's a fandub, people are trying their best to have fun while working on it. If you don't enjoy the new actresses performance as much, why not give some constructive criticism? People do these things so that they can learn how to improve as well (it's not professional work in the first place). Anyway I would keep these kinds of thoughts to yourself as it might make the actress who replaced her feel bad, not what we want on these forums.

    Will probably critique in a few Sakasa xD, good work as always with the mixing and such though.

    I obviously can't critique the new actress if she hasn't even been cast yet. Of course I will try to write something once the next part is actually done. Like I said, this is only a prediction on my part, and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong

    A prediction you should really keep to yourself, since it would have been relatively more polite/respectful course of action. ^^;

Though if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, nothing bad about pleasant surprises.
    Kind of earlier to be saying stuff about the potential successor without even hearing how they sound, As Anzu said in the fandub: "what gives you the right to judge people" if you can't say something nice keep your mouth zipped and don't be a troll. anyway why do you feel the need to critique someone when you arn't even involved in this project? as far as i kow Sakasa and a few others are directing this show so if you're not even in it why are you complaining? it sounds to me you're just upset cause someone you liked wasn't casted for the second half which of course there WAS a reason behind it, so if you'll please take your comments else where and leave this project be, especially since you don't even like the series, we can all get on with our lives and continue to do what we love doing and that's watch anime and fandub it, toodles

    Once again good work Sakasa i look forward to the second half and so do alot of Yu-Gi-Oh Fans

    Voice Acting is the right of all Potential VA's We cannot deny that there are some potentially great Voice Actors out there, well at those with talent...

    You realize this was posted in a forum for the express purpose of soliciting the views of others, right? If the desired effect was to exclude certain non-cast people from commenting, perhaps that should be explicitly stated right at the beginning. And like I said even in that very post you quoted, I know how good the actress for Shougo in this installment can be. I've worked extensively with her. And I've worked with and listened to the auditions of many other actresses because I've actually worked in plenty of projects already. I have a pretty good feel for the level of talent out there. And my experience tells me most other actresses just aren't as good (they can be good in their own right, I just don't think they are as good), that's why it's my prediction. It's based off real experience, that's why we call it an educated guess. And like I also said, even though I'm not a Yu Gi Oh fan, I wanted to support the Shougo actress by watching the other things that she works on. I'm happy to restate any other points I've already made if they're still unclear to you.

    "what's that?....i think that's the sound of no one caring for your trolling?"

    Accusing someone of trolling = the next best thing to being right since the turn of the century.
