Once upon a time, the basketball team of Teikō Middle School rose to distinction by demolishing all competition. The regulars of this team became known as the "Generation of Miracles". After graduating from middle school, these five stars went to different high schools with top basketball teams. However, a fact few know is that there was another player of the "Generation of Miracles", the phantom sixth player. This mysterious player is now a freshman at Seirin High, a new school with a powerful, if little-known, team. Now, Tetsuya Kuroko, the sixth member of the "Generation of Miracles", and Kagami, a naturally talented player who spent most of middle school in America, are aiming to bring Seirin to the top of Japan, taking on Kuroko's old teammates one by one.

You guys, this series is my current obsession... for a few weeks now LOL. I absolutely love everything about this series, it's perfect in my eyes. The characters are all perfect and lovable, I can't really hate anyone. This is seriously the best basketball anime I've ever watched. I can't remember much from Slam Dunk, but I have to say that I like Kuroko no Basuke more. Such a great series, please give it a try! The soundtrack for this anime is worth watching for! There are 17 episodes out at the moment, I don't know when the anime will end. I do read the manga when I get impatient waiting for every Saturday for each episode to come out @-@
