It's been a while since I posted anything

Here's a little clip from Skyward Sword!

The cast in order of appearance:

    Groose — OmegaOptimusSupreme
    Cawlin — MooseofFate
    Link — philsterman10
    Zelda — AderuMoro

    Sound effects from freesound.org

(All of the sound effects, music, and voices are added, except for when Groose and his lackeys whistle for their Loftwings and fly off.)

I've always felt that the eye's are a tad bit creepy. lol

Strich (deathlymuffins)--Not a ton of lines to critique. From what I heard it sounded fine to me.

Groose (OmegaOptimusSupreme)--I love the voice you gave this character and it works very well for you. I have no problems with the emotion whatsoever.

Cawlin (MooseofFate)--Not too many, but what I heard sounded fine to me.

Link (Philsterman01)--Just a few lines, and what I heard sounded fine.

Zelda (AderuMoro)--I like the voice, but the majority of your lines seem to be delievered awkwardly more like your concentrating on saying the words right or something along those lines.

Mixing: The only problem I saw was that Philster's lines were very soft and hard for me to hear.

A very enjoyable watch. Both the mixing and casting are spot on. OmegaOptimusSupreme is pure awesome as Groose! I have to agree with Soulgig on AderuMoro's lines, but I still like your voice a lot.

"A review a day keeps the trolls at bay." - Me

    Review 003
I loved the comically macho Groose voice. The segment where he was mocking Link as a crybaby were pretty entertaining. Only complaint is that there seemed to me to have been hints of a sort of dopey Southern accent (almost like Pete from the Disney canon) that was there some points but gone other times. If you're gonna do an accent, always commit fully to it.

Zelda's voice was really good because in this story, she's not always the reserved, dainty, aloof princess, so I like that you gave her delivery some real fire and spirit. For the parts where she's scolding Groose, though, I'd like to see the pace quickened just a little bit. It felt slightly too methodical. I don't know if you were going for an effect like Zelda was belittling Groose, since she thinks Groose is so dumb that she has to say everything so deliberately, but the pace kinda robbed the speech of a little of its furor.

Thank you for the feedback, everyone I appreciate it. I'll try to focus more on natural pacing than trying to enunciate everything clearly XD

    Nice clip.

Groose was great, really like the voice and the delivery. There were a couple of sections near the beginning where I think you paced his lines rather slowly, without emphasizing much and they came off a bit dull as a result. But otherwise I thought the voice and tone was perfect for the character.

Zelda also was well cast. I would say while scolding Groose it sounded like you were trying to emphasize every other word, which made her feel a bit stiff. Relax a little when acting, even when you're scolding someone. The quieter lines were fine, but could use a bit more reads before delivery as you didn't seem completely comfortable with them. But yeah just work on pacing yourself a bit and I'm sure the rest will fall into place.
