What programs do most of you often use.
    I use mixcraft 5.
Looking back at this thread, it feels empty. I shall now fill in the void.

I mainly made this thread to know if there may be a better program out there for recording other than Mixcraft 5.
I mean sure, it's decent, very decent actually but you know, just wondering.

Currently I mostly use Adobe Audition CS5.5. Sometimes I use GoldWave.

    Audacity/Wavepad mix.
Sorta leaning more to just Wavepad though. More convenient to record, cut, and package everything at once.

Commonly, I use Sound Recorder (which comes with Windows) for the most part. Sometimes, though, I use Movie Edit Pro 15 to record if they want the recording to be higher quality. Sound Recorder, in my opinion, sounds pretty good, but technically recording in Movie Edit Pro is better, so I use that one instead if needed.

I use Audacity. But i haven't ever used anything else to record with besides Final Cut Pro. Audacity is very easy to use and gives great out come so it's fine for me.

Adobe Audition 3.0 and 5.5 (both are doing stuff better than the other in certain areas). Though, I will at one point probably get ProTools just because it is a more professional sound editing program. Still, Audition is sufficient enough for me.

I use Audacity the most. I also have Adobe Audition (I don't know which edition or whatever), but I've only used it a few times.
