THIS HAS BEEN CAST! Thank you! Feel free to send along a demo reel to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in future guest and recurring roles.
Hey there folks. My original radioplay series' first episode is close to completion, but one of the main characters of the series has dropped out on me. As such... well, here I am. The radioplay follows a group of people on their way to a preview opening of Funland, USA, the once premier amusement park in the US. Their bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and they find themselves trapped and hunted. Here's what I need from you:
Garnet Graysmith female
Garnet's odd name betrays her completely normal persona. She's rather coolheaded, intelligent, pretty. Nothing to stop the sun, but nothing to sneeze at either. There just seems to be
something not quite... meshing about her. Perhaps it's just that she's foreign. Or maybe because she takes too many notes. Or maybe because she doesn't seem as confused or scared as everyone else...
Voice: British, preferably Manchester dialect though I may accept others.. Relaxed, casual.
This is a major character role. You will need to commit to it for the long-run so please please please be aware of that.
1: (This is in her own head. Not very conversational) I had to beg for this job at work. They wanted me on the top stories and well, to write a news article on the newest and greatest theme-park in the US is intern work... But my sources tell me something... odd might be happening there...
2: You know, I read a statistic that said 3/5 buses experience an engine failure once a month, so Ms. Shephard probably knows what sheís doing here.
3: (Kane just recently saved your life and also happens to be pretty damn good-looking. I think you now know how this would be read) Sounds like a good plan! I uh... Think Iíll buddy with Kane... if no one else minds? Just in case I fall into another sinkhole or something.
Please send lines in mono, 44100, 16-bit, mp3 to email@example.com. I will close the moment I find a good voice for it. I'll likely be scouting at the same time.
