INTRODUCTION:
Hello VAA! It has been a while, yes. Though I am here today to recast the lead character to my series, Dies Irae. Given the previous VA had dropped off the face of the earth; and the game making more and more headway, I found it important to finally settle down and recast Esther.
Now, I am doing this with hopes of starting up a kickstarter compaign for the game. Quite sadly, my own funds are no longer cutting it and progress on the game is getting further and further behind due to limited budgets. Therefore, the lead character is a VERY important role. Given how well the kickstarter campaign runs, this will hopefully become a 'paid' gig in the long run. MasakoX is currently working on a trailer and I am getting some assistance from EoE Games on my pitch. Though in truth, I have been planning this for nearly a year; I think now is the best time to finally embark on this.
Know that Dies Irae started here as a radioplay based on a revived idea of mine that I had originally designed QUITE a ways back. The radioplay met some decent success; at least, compared to radioplay status. Though along the way, it felt more and more 'game like'. So a couple of years back I started up on making the game. Since then, I have gathered a number of talented members. Therefore, I hope, along with a talented voice cast; to make this game as amazing as I can.
SYNOPSIS:
Dies Irae takes place in the fictional world of Gaia during its fourth, and current era. It has been a thousand years since the war known as 'Prologue to Dies Irae'; a war in which the Goddess of Creation, Evangeline, was said to have killed herself due to the sorrow humanity caused her. It was an era of bloodshed; where humanity raged war and slaughtered one another in the name of 'remembrance'. Refusing to merely be lost in histories pages; they etched their names in blood. A powerful Wielder known only by the name of ZION emerged, after the Goddess' passing, and took charge of the six Phantatiom Crystals that ensured the complete balance of Gaia. Through them, he was able to wield all six elements of Gaia and alone, put an end to this era of darkness. Though, through his exploits, all six crystals were destroyed; bringing about the end of the world, known as Dies Irae. Though, through some miracle, ZION was able to create the one thing the Goddess Evangeline herself could not... MEMORIES. Thus, the final Phantatiom Crystal was born, and placed within the center of Gaia, restored complete balance to the world.
Through the Memory Phantatiom Crystal, the remnants of the six shattered elements continued to live on through the souls of humanity. As humanity prospered, the crystals began to evolve. Now, nearly a thousand years since the end of the third era, those crystal remnants have grown to a full crystallized state, though merely spiritual, within humanity; granting them the powers ZION himself had acquired. The current era has thus far remained a peaceful one; with few wars and more localized troubles. Though a darkness begins to loom and Gaia is about to once again be brought near extinction through a particular memory who just refuses to remain a mere memory. Gaia's dark past is about to be brought to light; and the true events of the Prologue to Dies Irae are making their way to the surface. Right and wrong begin to blur as the world falls into a shade of gray; who is evil and who is good, will constantly be questioned, and the fate of Gaia itself will be based on the actions of three orphans.
Follow Esther Keshet's journey as she, the vessel of the reborn Goddess Evangeline, along with her secret love and best friend embark on a journey unlike none other. With each closing chapter, the world of Gaia will be torn asunder and all that you know will crumble before you. For each milestone, Esther will grow and change; and he very reality of Gaia itself will too change.

CHARACTERS:
Name: Esther Keshet
Age: 14 - 21
Biography: Esther's parents met a mysterious, yet tragic, fate when she was very young. Now orphaned, she was sent to the orphanage where she spent a number of years trying to drown out the haunting voice and its message. Tormented for years; she sought salvation through Jay. Having finally suppressed the voice within her head, she felt she had finally achieved true happiness; but much to her misfortune, it would be Jay's past in which forces her to face her destiny head on. When Eyvindr Orphanage is suddenly attached by Zaniel Vesta, Emperor of Ardere, the voice within Esther breaks free once more and announces that she is the reborn Goddess Evangeline. Awakening Esther's special element, known simply as Null, she explains that Esther's destiny is to bring forth six fully crystallized forms of the six Phantatiom Elements. Only by doing such, can she stop the catastrophic event known as Dies Irae. Though nothing is as it seems; and Esther is in for more than she could have ever expected.

Extra: Esther is quite cocky and often times very tomboyish. Though she has a wide range of emotions. Though you can think of her a little as 'Lina Inverse' in how she gets when she has power. Thus, in the radioplay, its a running gag.

Biography: It is said that the Goddess Evangeline existed alone with her twin sister, Lilith, in a void of nothingness. Having awoken from a dream full of wonder and life; she became restless. First she created the universe; though it was as empty as the nothing she had always known. Filling the universe with light, she created the stars and planets around them. Though, this felt just as empty as before. She then began work on a single planet; placing all her heart into its completion. Though the world she created and the life she gave it, would shatter apart time and time again. It was then that she created the six Phantatiom Crystals; with them, balance was given unto Gaia and life preserved. Alas, it was still quite and not nearly full of the life and excitment of her dream. It was then that she created humanity; invididuals each as different and unique as a snowflake. They filled Gaia with all the colorful excitment of her dream; and granted her love. She then granted humanity six collasol kingdoms and a promise of eternal safety; but only as long as the humans obided by her laws and safeguarded the Phantatiom Crystals. It was not for a number of thousands of years later that humanity would rage war with one another in sake of etching their names in histories pages; immortalizing themselves in an existance that had no afterlife. The Goddess, unable to bare her children killing one another and abusing that in which was meant to grant them protection to kill one another, she took her own life. But due to the Memory Phantatiom Crystal ZION created before his death, Evangeline's remnants were able to attach themselves to a young orphan by the name of Esther Keshet.
