I'm a bit new at all of this animating stuff, but I really like it and I've been working on a new project that is pretty much begging for an episode 1. Before I can get to that, though, I need voices for a variety of characters.
NOW FOR THE STORY: 19 year old Kohaku just graduated high school. She has been desperately searching for a good paying job to help out her family. Finally, after weeks of searching, she discovers a small cafe' in need of workers. Little does she know that the cafe' is known for making their employees dress up as maids and butlers.. (ya know, the kind that call the customers "guests" and "master" and "my lady.") When she goes there with hopes to be hired, she gets the job, but is mistaken for.. a guy? All of the episodes will revolve around the randomness that happens in the cafe', along with humor and of course, some romance.

Please make sure to put who you'd like to audition for in the title. Auditions for multiple rolls is encouraged.

CHARACTERS:
FEMALES
Name: Kohaku Hisagawa
Age: 19
Bio: Mother left after her brothers were born. Father died when she was young. Felt she had to be the family bread winner. Has two younger brothers. Laid back, optimistic, and kind.
Voice type: has the kind of voice that makes you wonder.. "hmm.. boy or girl..?"
Audition line 1: "Dad got sick when I was a kid, and he didn't get better. I remember, very clearly actually, the last thing he had asked of me. He asked me to take care of things for him, and to take care of Kohei and Tatsuya."
Audition line 2: "When it comes to this job, I feel like it makes me become myself."
Name: Sayuri Ichiishi
Age: 21
Bio: Confident, outgoing, and self-centered, although she sees herself as a kind-hearted, innocent soul. Gives nicknames to almost everything, and likes to make others call her "Sayu-chan." Akio is her twin brother.
Voice type: can range anywhere from happy to a little whiny to dramatic and somber..in a matter of seconds.
Audition line 1: "sometimes, I feel as if people only come to this cafe to see my shining face. It isn't every day that people can see a face with such shine such as mine." -an example of how self-centered and dramatic Sayu is..as well as a line you must use, haaha.
Audition line 2: "you're Ko-chan, right? I give you permission to be my friend, coworker!"
Name: Chiisa Sibasaki
Age: 19
Bio: Super shy, almost always confused, and admires Kohaku...also kinda has a crazy crush on hi-- er, her. Generally nice, but gets really scary-jealous when other people come in physical contact with Kohaku, no matter the gender, age, etc.
Voice type: soft spoken, high pitched at times.
Audition line 1: "I'm not very good at talking to people, but I always try my hardest."
Audition line 2: "Sayu-chan, why is your arm around Kohaku? Kohaku might not like you being so close to him. You don't want anyone thinking you two are a couple, do you?"
Name: Ranko Nanda
Age: 23
Bio: Really confident, but not in a cocky way. Comfortable around all men, doesn't care much for women, and uses her body to her advantage when she needs to. At heart, she's actually just a tom-boy..with less clothes and more makeup.
Voice type: normally, she just has a regular guy-ish voice...also has a seductive voice that she uses for work, and during random occasions with her coworkers because she thinks it's funny.
Audition line 1: "I've never really liked girls that much. They talk a lot, and I don't really like words."
Audition line 2: "Have you come to see me again, master?"
Name: Yume Fuchizaki
Age:18
Bio: The youngest of the maids. Yume hates crowds, appears very distant, and is a bit of a loner. She has a twisted sense of humor and can be a little evil at times but is a really good person. She likes cats and sweets.
Voice type: Very bland..like, toast without butter. No emotions. Monotone..?
Audition line 1: "The fair? There's people at the fair. A lot of people.. I'd rather burn at the stake than go."
Audition line 2: "Here, Kohi-san. Good kitty, drink your coffee."
MALES
Name: Yoshiyuki Moriyama
Age: 20
Bio: Use to be a real butler when he was 17 to a terrible family. Learned how to act politely in all situations through the experience. Very prince-like, to the point of obnoxiousness. Has a serious side to him, sometimes. But he's mostly always joking. Also enjoys teasing Kohaku.
Voice type: smooth and prince-like.
Audition line 1: "Everyone knows that, deep down in there hearts, the only reason we even stay open is because I'm here."
Audition line 2: "Through that experience, I learned how to deal with terrible people..and the only way I could figure out how to do it was being polite."
Name: Ryuuji Izutani
Age:22
Bio: Basically a genius. Cold-hearted, a bit malevolent, but all in all a good person. Has a soft spot for certain people in his life, but that doesn't stop his harshness.
Voice type: Sophisticated.. I'd really like someone to try an English accent, but it's not necessary.
Audition line 1: "People come here, Kohaku, because they're lonely. They pay for our services and they leave. If one of them gets confused and thinks that they or we have fallen in love, then it's their fault. This is work for us, and a sorry hobby for them."
Audition line 2: "Listen closely, because I'm only going to say this once.. good luck."
Name: Akio Ichiishi
Age: 21
Bio: Doesn't say much because through most of his life, Sayuri did all of the talking. A deticated smoker, really laid back, and a bit mysterious. Does his own thing.
Voice type: Deep..maybe talk like a smoker if it doesn't sound raspy and weird, haha?
Audition line 1: "I don't care."
Audition line 2: "Sayuri.. shut up."
Name: Hideki Yokoyama
Age:19
Bio: The youngest of the Butlers. Really self-conscious about his age. Defensive. Always trying to appear more mature, or cool, but fails. His weaknesses are candy, cute things, and naps.
Voice type: I either am looking for a boyish voice, or a really deep voice..haven't decided. Boyish would suit him, but a deep voice would be kinda funny. Oh. And he stutters when he tries to defend himself. Whiney at times.
Audition line 1: "What are you talking about? I'm not into those types of things!"
Audition line 2: "Why are you guys talking so loud..? I was in the middle of my after-lunch nap."
Name: Seiji Futa
Age: 20
Bio: The young owner of the cafe'. Comes from a wealthy family. Appears stuck up, but really isn't.. except that he refuses to eat, or even try, instant ramen. One of the first people to find out that Kohaku is a girl. Keeps it a secret from the others for a while, for fear that they will all react badly. Tries to convince Kohaku to tell everyone the truth. All in all, he's a dependable, loyal person who really cares about Kohaku.
Voice type: Deep, and a little bit of a snooty tone sometimes..?
Audition line 1: "I don't mind most of the food you commoners shove down your greasy unhealthy throats, but if there is one thing I will not try, EVER, it's instant ramen."
Audition line 2: "It's your choice to keep it a secret, Kohaku.. but what will you do if the others find out before you get to tell them the truth?"

Age: 36
Bio: not much is known about him, except that he serves as the body guard for the maids and, sometimes, the butlers. Comes off as super intimidating, but is actually just a giant teddy bear.. unless you do something to make him mad.
Voice type: really deep. Like, the ocean. -humor fail
Name: Ayumi Futa
Age:26
Bio: Seiji's older sister. Kind, but likes to tease Seiji.
Voice type: sophisticated and motherly.
Name: Kohei Hisagawa
Age: 16
Bio: Kohaku's younger brother. Super protective of his sister, and looks up to her. Lives with his aunt.
Voice type: Either kiddish or a normal guy voice, haven't decided..
Name: Tatsuya Hisagawa
Age: 14
Bio: Kohaku's younger brother. Soft-spoken and kind-hearted. Innocent..and lives with his aunt.
Voice type: Kiddish!!
Name: Masami Nagai
Age: 8
Bio: Kohaku's cousin. Mature for her age, and smart but spoiled.
Voice type: Girly, and whiny at times.
Name: Yoko Nagai
Age: 36
Bio: Kohaku's fathers sister.. sooo, Kohaku's aunt. Not much of a personality.. nice lady, I suppose??
Voice type: motherly..?
Name: Shinji "Jin" Abe
Age: 23
Bio: Has lived next to Kohaku's aunts for most of his life. Often sees her, and kinda stalks her. Kohaku sees him as a really good friend, but Shinji is in the midst of trying to confess his one-sided love. His personality.. pretty normal, except he freaks out over small things and is Kohaku-obsessed.
Voice type: Any, but has to be able to get a high pitch for when Jin freaks out.
