  1. #1 Hey guys!
What's up? I just joined and wanted to say hello and meet everyone.

I'm not very experienced with voice acting, but I figured where better to learn, right? ...right?
Anyway, I've studied video production at a trade school and took an animation class at an art college in Philly. So, I have some experience writing scripts, editing videos, speaking on camera, ect. I still have a lot to learn, but I feel like I could at least be helpful to anyone's project that needs an extra hand! or voice! or whatever!

I've also been playing live music for about 6 years. Mainly I play bass guitar, but I also 'attempt' to play electric guitar and ukulele lol. As for singing, I've only sang in hard rock/hair metal type bands so I have trouble singing anything other than that style

I digress though, I hope to learn more from this site and to help out where I can!

    Welcome to the VAA!

And you sound so awesome you know that? That is so cool. I was born in Philly. I hope you're living on the safe side!
Anyways, there's a thread run by Reikku, she's doing a fandub project and she has experience and such. She's also recruiting editors so it be a nice way to gain more experience.

Let me know if you need anything though. Advice and such. Although I'm a newb at mixing so I can't really help you there. Although I think I know a few people who are decent or adequate with mixing and editing.

You seem like you can multitask but I'll say this anyways, try to not tackle too many projects at once so be wary of that when someone asks of your assistance. Uhm, audition for small parts as a start to gain experience, too big of a part can be a bit nerve wrecking and stressing unless you have a lot of time on your hands. Ask for constructive critiques to know what you need to work on. And that's about it for now.

Since you do singing, voice acting might come out naturally for you since most of it is expressing emotions very well. Good luck ~
