  1. #1 Complex Question
Now bear with me on this:

Everyone has their own favorite anime and manga series, but with favoritism comes a little bit of extensive observation. With that being said, I'm gonna ask if there's anything in your favorite anime/manga/whatever that you don't like?

    I'll start.

While I follow Jojo's Bizarre Adventure extensively, there's one thing I noticed in virtually all of the series and that's the consistent onslaught of minor baddies that lets their stands do all the work (D&G, Yuuya (pt.4), Devo the Cursed and Arabia Fats to name a few), I find that annoying because I'm aware that every stand has to have a user and all but a "rogue stand" would be just that much cooler.

I also don't like the Dio (other than part four, virtually, every chapter had a reference to Dio in there, hell the protagonist of part five was his son and the antagonist of part six may have had sex with him) references, Araki-san, just let him die, man.

    Now you.
Yeah, you can ask me anything.

Fun Fact: I'm a luchador wannabe in the real world

Ok, well it's obvious which is my favourite anime/manga. I follow Bleach. NOW! I HAVE ALOT TO SAY HERE.

After the Ichigo and the crew entered Hueco Mundo, after he had finished training to control his inner hollow, there is a HUGE lack of character developement. There is absolutely no development that I could see until it got to episode 270 onwards, where it picked up a bit. While the character development that IS in the series is actuually really good, it doens't excuse the lack of it. Naruto is a perfect example of good character development....just saying.

The pace of the manga is very slow at times. Anyone who has read the manga will tell that Tite Kubo likes to drag alot of stuff out for no reason other than to simply make it longer. That is the reason why there is so much filler in Bleach. The Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc is a perfect example of Kubo's pace. It was very slow. It was just so boring at the beginning and that was the reason why Bleach dropped in ratings. Kubo has recently reduced the amount of content in each chapter. You can see that by the layout of the pages. Very big panels....for no reason. In the arc I talked about, the anime actually had to ADD IN it's own content, just to explain things better. The anime for this arc was much better than the manga. Very well done.

Going back to the lack of content....the backgrounds are very bland. Kubo likes to focus on the characters more. Which you can tell as the characters are very well drawn in each chapter and not to mention very well designed. I really think that Kubo should go into clothes design after he finishes with Bleach. He is very good at it. He even said he would be interested in doing it in an interview in the Bleach Souls book.

    ~SPOILERS AHEAD~

NOW FOR MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH BLEACH. Tite Kubo loves to repeat himself. At the end of the Soul Society Arc. It was revealed the Sosuke Aizen who seemed to be the nicest person EVER!, was actually the true main villain of the series. And that Gin who was seen as the main villain, was just a side villain. This was a huge shock and a really awesome plot twist. This plot twist was actually repeated TWICE!!!, in two other story lines. In the Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc, the main villain, Shukuro Tsukishima, was the side villain and the nce guy who trained Ichigo, Kugo Ginjo was the real evil mastermind. And again, it was repeated in the Hell Verse Movie, which ofcourse, WAS THE MOVIE TITE KUBO WROTE........but I won't get into more detail XD. I don't think that Kubo's theory of " If it worked the first time......" works.

For me I have found a love For the Boxing anime Hajime no Ippo and the thing i must say i dislike about it is the English dub of the anime it does not give the anime justice as they do not have the right voices and the Voice acting is not the best and That and the fact The squeal to the anime has been
cancelled after 27 episodes makes me sad :C

Well, my recent favorite series is "Gurren Lagann". While this show had VERY little wrong with it in my eyes, there are still those moments that made me question "What?" while watching.

First of all, in the episode that shows Yoko's peaceful life after Tepplin's fall, there is a small boy that the principle is telling her how he came to the island. He tells her that he came there 3 years ago with his mother, as that is where she was born. Innocent enough, right? Well, there is a bit of continuity errors. If the humans came to the surface 6-7 years ago, then the mother couldn't have been born on the island UNLESS: a.) there are underground villages underneath the island or b.) She was involved in a surface world rebellion like Kamina and Simon, only she didn't have the resources (Gunmen, etc.). I just found it kind of sketchy, that's all. Of course, it could have been an issue with the ADR scripting, but I don't like to think about that because the English dub was just...so...great.

Other side notes were that the character "Leeron" never ages. If you compare pictures of him from the first arc, second arc, and at the end when it jumps into the future, they all look the same. You'd think he'd change appearance after what...37 years? But nope. He doesn't. :/

Either way, the rest of the show is flawless in my opinion.

A lot of my favorite anime are classics like some of the original Macross,Gundam and other anime during that time. The one that holds the dearest memories for me is the Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. It was the series that started the superhero team in Japan and it helped made way for Tokusatsu series such as Super Sentai and Power Rangers.

The plot was a simple monster of the week formula but with the first series having like 200 episodes,it gave much room for character development for the team members:Ken the Eagle,Jun the Swan,Joe the Condor,Jinpei the Swallow and Ryu the Owl. Each member had their own bits of history and reasons for joing the team and watching them face off against Galactor and his military commander Berg Katse,it made for a lot of interesting fights. The plot does start to really start connecting later on in the series and the ending was something that shook up the fanbase quite a lot at the time. I loved the series not just for nostalgia but the legacy it left from its own ashes even after the end of their 3rd series Gatchaman Fighter.

Methinks you misread the question, friend...

I was wondering if there was something you could find wrong with a series you liked, hence the objective to be nitpicky

I hated Medaka Box for a while because of the Mary Sue title character.

Weird thing though, I kept reading for the sole purpose of seeing her seriously struggle at some point.

..I had to wait a very long time.
    Made a Durarara Parody.
    Reviewed some stuff.
    Working on Ben-To Parody.
Next up Accel World Parody Mini Series.

I don't know if this counts but: Constant killing of my favorite characters by Studio Sunrise. It's like... they give you this perfect character, make you fall in love with him/her... then just kill them off like it's nobody's business. Every single time. I swear they do it on purpose. Sunrise has played with my feelings for so long now, my feels cannot tolerate it.

I know how that is. Ryu from Mobile Suit Gundam,Ramba Raul from the same. Then here's one for all you Brave Series fans out there,Seven Changer who dies not too far off in becoming a good guy. May they all R.I.P.
