Hey there! I'm currently casting for my Clannad Fandub. Before I get into the details, I would like to give a short description of Clannad for those who don't know what it's about: “Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and gambling. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction.” (animenewsnetwork)
Now, my fandub of this series has been in production for awhile now and we're going on episode 5. As of right now, I only need two female voice actors. For anyone who wants to audition but doesn't believe they have the voice for either of the two characters offered at this time, don't be discouraged since I'll be updating this thread whenever we hit an episode where a new character appears and I feel that no one in the cast could fill the role.

Rules:
- Please use a good microphone. A bad one will have a negative effect on your audition.
- Along with mic quality, please don't have background noise.
- Show emotion even if little is called for! Lack of emotion will reduce your chance in obtaining a part, that includes being considered for a future character.
- Please use the lines provided.
- I will not be offering critiques since I do not have a lot of time these days, so please refrain from requesting one. If I find the time, I may send out critiques.
- By auditioning you are saying that you will be committed to the project if cast, so please be reliable if I decide to cast you.
The deadline is August 14, 2012. Results will be up by August 18, 2012.

Misae Sagara-singmyheartout4u (YT)
Age: 20's
Bio: Misae Sagara was Hikarizaka Private High School's first female student council president and achieved a full week of perfect attendance for the entire student body. She is now the manager of the dorm where Sunohara lives. Misae's friendly with those in live in the dorm, but strict when it comes to the rules.
Voice Type: medium or borderline medium-low, voice actor has to be able to yell since Misae is generally seen shouting at the boys who live in the dorm since they're always breaking some sort of rule
Line 1: (yelling/scolding those who live in the dorm) Hey, you guys! I am not gonna let you get away with that again! (no longer yelling; irritated) Those guys are such perverts! They were peeking in the girl's dorm again!
Line 2: (still annoyed, but slightly calmed down) I can only hope that's all it'll take to do it.
Line 3: I'm actually opposed to acts of violence though.
Mitsui-animeismyaddiction
Age: 17
Bio: Mitsui is a student of Hikarizaka Private High School. She talked with Fuko for a bit during the school's entrance ceremony before her accident. Though she remembers Fuko, she refuses to accept Fuko's starfish sculpture gift and request to go to her sister's wedding, since she is a senior and is busy with entrance exams.
Voice Type: medium, snobbish (optional, if you choose to make her voice snobbish, try not to overdo it)
Line 1: (aloof) Oh, now that you mention it, you got into an accident, didn't you? Were you discharged from the hospital?
Line 2: (slightly apologetic) I'm sorry, but I can't accept it. (no longer apologetic; show annoyance, but not too much) You're in your first year, so you may not know, but seniors are very busy. All of us have to study for difficult entrance exams and I just can't participate in anything that will cause lost time. Excuse me.
