a Video-Game Singing Competition

hosted by Saigo, Zain, and Soulgig!

Video Games have progressed from a simple time-waster for young people into a pure art form, with award winning storylines and realistic graphics and the like. But one thing that has always impressed players and non-players alike is the music composition that helps Video Games in their purpose as beautiful forms of art. This 7-week singing show will test the competitors in their ability to sing songs which were featured in any Video Games that fit the pre-supposed theme, and in some cases write lyrics for songs that may not have lyrics in them already.


To Audition for this revolutionary new show, all you must do is send us any song that may have been featured on a video game at any point in time. This song can have music, or it can be A Capella. The audition can also be previously recorded, if that makes things easier. Send these auditions to IntermineStudios@hotmail.com! We'll be accepting auditions until we have accepted 16 people, or until the deadline which will be July 12th, 2012 @ 11:59PM CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

Sounds like fun, I might have to get in on this. Just one question, will we be penalized for singing the song in a lower octave? The reason I bring this up is because I'm an incredibly low bass singer, so there's not many songs I can actually sing in their normal pitch.

Oh, by no means! You can sing any song, regardless of the original pitch. As long as you can sing it well in your respective pitch, it will be counted!
