Hiya, Guys!
For the past four months, I've been trying to wrangle a few fellow voice actors/actresses for a fandubbing of Tessa Stone's insanely popular webcomic, Hanna is Not a Boy's Name.
I've been successful, having most of the characters cast, but we need only a smidgen more before we can start rolling.
Please send your auditions to me at hannavap@gmail.com (please format attachments as #username_character_line) or the project's tumblr. Links of previous audtions will be accepted.
Here are the remaining available characters (taken from website) :
MALES:
Ples Tibenoch
Wrapped up in all sorts of questions and suspicions (particularly in that of the death of Lee, the disappearance of Mister Hatch, and [more relative to Hanna and his crew] the missing selkie pelt), Mister Tibenoch appears to live by himself. Though that doesn’t seem to mean he is without conversation. He ticks constantly, is usually seen with some sort of bottle in hand, and bleeds a hybrid of blood and oil. What his true intentions are and just how deeply he is (or is not) entwined with the Hatches remain to be revealed, but one thing’s for sure. Mister Tibenoch isn’t quite what any one expected.
Tick tock.
Voice: Medium - Low // Gentleman-like & Precise ( like clockwork, pfft )
Line 1: (Calm/Dismissive) Doesn't ring familiar, No.
Line 2: (Quick/Annoyed) I said nothing of real substance. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have a horrible headache.
Line 3: (Injured/Demented/Ragged?) So, to what do I owe the honor, Nancy Drew?
Lee Falun
First regarded as the ghost who got kinda pissed off whenever a girl was off key, Lee turned out to have much more deeply rooted problems than an intolerance for bad singing. As a ghost he is irritable, jealous and vengeful no matter who it is he may be talking to, having bouts of aggression coupled with crippling sadness and self pity. As a person, Lee was commonly confused, well meaning but dull, and had a horrible ability to push the worst case scenario out of his head in favor of a much more comforting half-truth. Lee was really the only parental figure in Veser’s life, but he failed to really understand how much Veser needed him. That is, until he died.
Voice: Medium - Medium Low // Ghost - Erratic -- Human/Flashback - Soft & Concerned
Line 1: (Human/Curious) Hey, Ves. Is your dad around?
Line 2: (Ghost/Furious) Why do you get a second chance?
Lamont Toucey
There’s a man behind everything, and behind all of Worth’s shady shenanigans is Lamont Toucey. Sporting the look of a stocky, sturdy man who wouldn’t mind getting his hands a little dirty for a few quick bucks, his looks aren’t all that deceiving. Though despite his slicked back hair and his dark eyes and who he keeps company with (Doc Worth), Lamont proves to be horrendously polite and soft spoken. How much of those manners are genuine is debatable, but at least if he’s being sneaky he’s going to be very superficially kind while doing so.
Voice: Medium Low - Low // Sauve & Shady
Line 1: (Teasing) Hey, Hanna. Glad to see you in one peice.
Line 2: (Greeting) Pleasure's all mine. I'm Lamont Toucey, by the way. I've already heard great things about you.
EXTRAS:
Mrs. Blainey
Hanna's Neighbor
Voice: Medium // Middle-aged Smoker ( can be comedic if desired )
Line 1: (Impatient) It's 'bout time, Sweet Cheeks.
Line 2: (Suggestive) MMM. Why do you have so many men over tonight?
Toni's Bandmate (Female)
The Off Key Lead Singer
Voice: Any // Snooty
Line 1: (Flirty) Ooh, these your friends, Toni?
Line 2: (Snappy) I'll have know I only sing off key when I'm nervous.
Cashier (Male)
Voice: Medium // Young Adult
Line 1: (Curious) Man, Mr. Tibenoch. Party this weekend?
Line 2: (Casual) Ha! I guess you can really hold your liquor well, okay.
Misc. Voices (Any)
Line 1: (shocked) Is that guy green?
Line 2: (gossipy) He looks dead.
Line 3: (confused) What the hell?
