Here is my Persona 4 fandub reel. These are impressions of the english video game actresses not the Japanese ones.
Anyway, let me know what you think!

I think you did a pretty good job! My favorite was Rise, you really caught her more bubbly traits, and I could hear the smile though the lines.
    Well done!

Very nice emotion all the way through the reel. I was able to actually visualize those you were portraying. I especially liked the change of tone in "you little skank!". I can definitely see your voice accompanying an anime character, as Shade001 said, you have a knack for capturing the bubbly traits!

Just a quick suggestion. I noticed a fair few puffs and pops at places of higher emotion and with your "p"s. That can be used for microphone scenes, since your character will be speaking into the microphone, and depending on how familiar they are with announcements (ie. amateur or experienced) the puffs may contribute to bringing that trait of the character to life.

In other cases, where a microphone is not present in the scenario, I suggest trying to move your mic away from your face. For me, I use a headset to record my lines (makes it difficult to tell if I got the right emotion :\) and I found that bending the end part of the microphone away from my face so it's approximately 45 degrees really helped reduce, if not eliminate the puffs. Of course, if you're going for scenes with even higher energy, actually moving the mic away or reducing the volume may help. I've also heard about a pop filter, but I haven't looked into that yet. Try them all out and see what works for you!

    Great job, keep it up!

Yeah, I know about microphones, I work in radio I just haven't dished out the couple extra bucks and time to go get a new pop filter... I'm sooooooooooooo overbooked at work that I take what little time I get and keep it to myself mostly and my friends. I'm glad you liked the emotional changes, that's on of the most important things about voice acting is the ACTING! I think a lot of people tend to forget that

It's a rather good reel. You have some good natural talent. You might want to try a normal character demo reel with lines and characters that aren't licensed and wouldn't limit what you're doing to impressions. The acting is definitely there and so is the quality. If you haven't tried auditioning for projects yet you might want to start looking into that as well.
Click the image to purchase the novel for $2.99 Any support is greatly appreciated. If you do purchase, let me know and I will send you a free download of the original soundtrack and an audio thank you from some members of the cast.

Thanks! I actually made an original character voice reel, and one that has A LOT of my impressions in it. And yes, I've started auditions for projects

Your Rise voice is absolute genius.

Though there are a couple of things that I believe that Kirbz had said that I'm probably going to re-state. Yes, you do need some kind of a pop filter of some sort, to take all of those unneeded pops and hisses out of the voice. They only cost you about $20 dollars at your local music/audio store.

Other than that, it was amazing!

Ha ha, thanks, I know that pop filters aren't that expensive, but $20 that's gas money for a 3 days when you live in poverty town, lol!
