Hello everyone,

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has made a submission thus far, and remind those of you that haven't that there's still plenty of time before the July 2 deadline! All applicants can look forward to a critique e-mail the day after the deadline on July 3 and we will be announcing our selections by July 5!

I'm so happy that so many have be interested in the project, I can't wait for production to kick into full swing so that we can cast other roles too (especially for you guys...sorry they're coming though!)

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for showing such enthusiasm in being apart of the project, I'm so happy at the number of applicants we've received, with more still slipping in, haha.

So I just wanted to say that as the time of this positing we will still be accepting new submissions for the next 7 hours (final deadline is at 8 PM GMT -5) and shortly there after we will have (hopefully) sent out all feedback/critique letters as well.

Over the next 2 days we will be closely evaluating who we think will make the best fits for our two leads, we will select 6 finalist (3 for each role) and contact those actresses with a small script of about 5-10 lines, this will be a much more directed sample (giving multiple cues and suggestions) and we will be our two leads from the 2 actresses that preform the exercise the best from their category.

I will be posting again when the deadline has passed and we are no longer accepting submissions, good luck to everyone and let it be known that I think everyone has done a great job thus far! Oh and GoldenVixen I can confirm receiving your submission!

But yes, we have now closed off accepting any new submissions! Thank you to everyone who submitted and please look for that critique/feedback letter within the next 24hrs! And please be on the look out for a second letter should we select you as one of our finalist! (at which point I will post on here again when those letters have been sent out).

This last part is just fluff, but some interesting things I observed during the process thus far:

2 other interesting things, 1 applicant shares the same first name of someone in the cast, our audio supervisor wanted to pick her based on that alone, haha. Another applicant's last name was Nelson which made me think of the Nelson sisters from Valkyira Chronicles, I wanted to pick her based on that alone, hehe.
