Hello! I've sort of been lurking on and off here again for a bit, so thought it was worth posting about Amecon August 10th-12th at Keele Uni. Are any other AVA types going?As per usual I'm running the AVA events at the con, this year I'm actually doing two panels.
Anime Dub Live
This is the silly panel, where audience members get dragged into skits, and we live dub anime usually with no script, often with silly side prompts. If anyone has any clips where they can export them with just SFX and music I'd appreciate them.

Amateur Voice Acting Panel
It's been a few years since I've done one of these! Old skool VAA-ers may remember I did a few of these, and also a universal AVA panel handout and slideshow for others to use. So this will be like that, I'm going to cover all the basics, as well as show off some submitted clips. So if you have some short clips you'd like shown please email me at aralechan@gmail.com. Preference will be to show clips from people going to the con, but that's often not many so everyone feel free to submit.
In addition if anyone is going to Ame and would like to speak at the panel there may be space for you to join in ( ie help me present the panel or just talk about 1 small area of AVA stuff), this depends on the time slot the con give us ( ie more time = more content) and if the people already potentially helping can actually come to the con.
