I've been thinking a lot about "fresh starts" in the past few days. No doubt it has a lot to do with backing up and reformatting my computer, but also the fact that I'm beginning to take VAs more seriously. I went ahead and made two new e-mail addresses to this end (one for business, one for private use), which in hindsight is something I should've done ages ago, but I'm thinking of going even further.
I have a lot of stagnant history with this particular internet alias. I want to break into the world of voice acting and other art productions with a fresh identity - something I can say I've had vested in artistic ventures from the very beginning. To that end, I've been considering retiring "Hi-Hat," "High Hat," etc., for a new internet alias.
Now, as far as coming up with a new alias is concerned, I thought I might crowdsource a few ideas. I've already got a concept in mind, based on an avatar I've favored for years now:
