Need help with a usb desktop microphone

Hey, so ummm, I bought this new, basic USB desktop microphone, but it doesn't seem to work on Audacity. I tried finding help over the internet but even if I follow it, it still doesn't work. So, has anyone had any expiriences with a desktop microphone? Oh, and it's an ULTRA microphone.

What OS are you using? And on top of that, what's the name of your microphone? And did you install the drivers for it?(Though in most cases, this should be automatic, unless it's XP)

Also, look around in this drop menu for the mic. The highlighted is my USB mic(it will differ from yours)
Note: This is the Audacity Beta, so it may also differ from yours if you're using a stable version.

Yes, it says "Microphone (USB Headphone)" and on my mic it says ULTRA in it, so I asume is an ULTRA Microphone.

Aight, make sure it's on the Microphone and not Speaker, because for some reason my Speaker setting uses the Mic as well(which obviously doesn't work or have a purpose).

Now the next thing is to turn the volume input of your mic up. In my screenshot it's located at the top right. I have mine low because my Mic picks up a lot of sound, but make sure it's not at zero. If that still doesn't work, tell me your Operating System so I'll know how to do it from the system's Volume Control.
