Yeah, so I won't pretend those aren't the most amazing graphics I've ever seen. It's just such a bummer that I've become so oriented to expect and allow stagnant, archetypal Final Fantasy game-play as long as it's wrapped up as goddamn prettily as this. Square could at least have the decency to not make such absurdly beautiful games.

That said, I eagerly await the unveiling of future titles that will be utilizing this engine and their respective character designs, as I'll inevitably fling my money at them. With these graphics, I predict a sea of belts. Belts and zippers, everywhere.

Saw this last night and found it absolutely amazing. I can't wait to see what their future games will have to offer, though they did say not to expect them to look exactly like that since it was only a tech demo but something close to it would be pretty awesome. Right now though, I just wish they would have showed off some of the titles that they were currently working on/need to finish.

After XIII and XIV,I tread more cautiously around the hyping of a Final Fantasy game as the flagship series is not what it used to be. But the failure of those games did bring other RPG series more light upon themselves.
