I hope this is the right forum for this...it isn't a project or audition, and it's all about constructively practicing voice acting even though it's also sort of a game, so this SEEMS like the right place to me...mods please move if you feel there is a more appropriate subfourm to be used!
I'm proposing we play a little game in order to practice our skills. Every poster will list a prompt describing a character and/or situation, or I suppose you could post a picture too (kind of like BehindTheVoiceActor.com's "Voice This!" game). Whoever posts next creates an audio clip inspired by the character/situation described/pictured in said prompt. The audio clip is uploaded to an audio hosting site (I like http://yourlisten.com) and linked in a new post along with a prompt for the next person!

If somebody else responds before you finish posting, don't worry about it. Just make sure you quote or at least reference the prompt you're responding to. If you want to respond to multiple prompts at once that's fine too, but try not to let anyone's prompt go totally ignored. And try to be creative and somewhat descriptive with your prompt. Finally, don't be too critical of others' audio clips. This is all about practicing and having fun, not about critiquing others' work. There is no right or wrong way to answer a prompt!
So, let's get going. Like I said, next challenge: Voice a dog excited to see its owner after a long day.
