[Description]
This game is an English adaptation of the Japanese Visual Novel Saya no Uta. I personally find that this game has a very heart-warming storyline but a lot of people are repelled by its sexual content. I have decided to remake the game and censor it for a more suitable audience. Episode 1 only goes up to the first ending.

[Premise]
Fuminori Sakisaka is a young medical student, whose life is changed when he gets in a traffic accident which kills his parents and leaves him heavily injured. Fuminori undergoes experimental brain surgery to save his life, but the surgery has an unintended side-effect - it creates a form of agnosia, causing his senses to become "warped". He perceives the world as a hellish nightmare with a black sky and buildings covered in pulsating flesh, where all the streets and building interiors are splattered with blood, giant organs and cartilage. Ordinary people appear to him as grotesque, giant grub-like monsters with a hideous stench, and even food that he used to like now tastes utterly disgusting.

Minimum Requirements:
~Tested on Windows Vista, Windows 7 x64
~DirectX 8 compatible graphics card with at least 32MB of video memory
~Pentium or equivalent processor
~DirectX 8 compatible sound card
~128 MB of RAM or greater
~800×600 or greater screen resolution with 16-bit or 32-bit colors

Instructions:
~download part 1 and part 2 using the link provided (make sure they are in the same folder)
~right click on part 1 (Song of Saya Episode 1.zip.001) file and extract the file (right click -> 7-Zip -> extract to...) using 7-zip to a place you can easily find (e.g. desktop)
~download latest patch and replace files with files from patch
~double-click "Song of Saya.exe" file to play
~if error occurs (.dll file missing) go into "redistributable" folder and double click on all 3 files (oalinst.exe, vcredist_x86, Incosolate.ttf)
~if error still occurs, please send me a screenshot of the error message

Hi, try extracting part1 using winrar or 7zip (make sure both parts is in the same folder).
If everything extracted fine, you can just ignore the second file.

Just downloaded part 1. It's also a blank file.

I just downloaded and started playing, and so far it's pretty awesome! However, there are two little things I think I should mention.

1. winRAR didn't recognize the files at all. I have 7zip, and that worked just fine. winRAR might be able to unzip them too, but it doesn't recognize the extensions by default, so 7zip might be easier.

2. All of Kouji's audio appears to be one line ahead for me. I always hear what he's going to say next during each line. Everyone else's dialog is fine though.

In terms of audio quality and stability, it's just perfect though. The mismatched audio for me could just be a fluke, but I thought I'd bring it up just to be safe.

how are you opening it? are you using 7zip?

I've used 7zip, Winzrar and Express Zip, but none of them work. I fixed the file extension because I think that's what messed it up (You put two full stops so I removed the second one) but it still doesn't work, and says the file is corrupt/damaged.

Hm... you shouldn't try changing the extension.
So I'm assuming you have both zip.001 and zip.002 in 1 location.
Right click on zip.001 and go into the 7-zip menu and click extract here...
This should extract the files. Tell me if this works or not.

If 7Zip successfully extracted 001, it should have automatically gotten 002 as well. Try it out as it is, and it should work.
