[CLAMP] Horitsuba Private Academy English Radio Drama Auditions [CAST LIST UP!]

Hey everyone! I have been wanting to do the english version of the ever popular Horitsuba Gakuen Radio drama by CLAMP. I am in need of people to join in and fill in the voices of the characters that are available in this radio drama and as well as people who can help out with the SFX and mixing. ^^ The role for Sakura will be self-casted and the rest of the characters are open for auditions! ^^

What to do:

I have listed the characters needed for this radio drama and their lines as well below their photos.


1) Please make sure that when recording you are using a good and clear microphone. Please do not add any vocal effects like reverbs to your voice. ^^

2) Please make sure that your voice recordings are in MP3 or WAV. If you have skype you can do a live audition as well.

3) Kindly send your audition files to Kokarian_Princess@yahoo.com.sg / CLAMP_Princess@hotmail.com . If you want to do a live audition via skype add me, irina.sykes .nassau and let me know when would you be free for the live audition.

4) You are more than welcome to try out for more than one character. ^^

PLEASE NOTE:
Some of the lines that here are NOT the official lines. Some tweaking will be done to the lines to better suit the proper grammar from the direct Japanese translations of the script.

FINAL REMINDER TO ALL:

Please record your lines and save them at 16-bit WAV, 44100Hz!!! ^^

TIPS WHEN RECORDING:

Make sure that you try your best to watch your sound level when you do a recording. Try to make sure that your sound level does not reach the red zone or reach the peak. But please make sure not to record it so low too! OAO Keep within the middle range and make sure you are not TOO loud or TOO soft either.

Try your very best to eliminate buzz sounds when you record (If you're having any) by changing and shifting the position of your microphone.

Try your best not to record any distinct pop sounds, such as pronouncing, "pop", "plane" or words that will make a loud pop when recording. A pop filter would be great if you have one if not it would be best if you can buy one or borrow one or even make one.^^ If you can’t get any on time try putting a sock over your mic, it helps minimize the pop sounds a little. Make sure it’s a clean sock of course! OAO

If you’ve got any vocal reflections (like tiny echos of yourself in the background) by recording in a sound proof room or in a closet where the sounds can be absorbed by the clothes and not end up bouncing back producing an echo effect which is not wanted. NOT HIGHLY recommended for claustrophobic people like me. OAO I will NOT be held responsible for any panic attacks! O.O

And more importantly….save your auditions at 16-bit WAV, 44100Hz. PLEASE
