About project: M4-78 Enhancement Project is a mod for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II video game. Goal of a mod is to add M4-78, also known as a “droid planet”, back into the game. M4-78 is a planet that was supposed to appear in a game, but was cut out before release. Planet's modules were salvaged from game files, but there weren't many dialogs left, so we had to write most of it ourselves.
Plot: M4-78 is planet populated by droids. They arrived on this world many years ago and begun to prepare it for colonization, awaiting the arrival of their "colonists" - the Sith. Player, the Jedi Exile, goes there in search of a Jedi Master Loona Vash. However, shortly before player's arrival to the planet, whole colony is flooded with deadly radiation, killing off all organics on the planet.

All characters in need of voice acting are droids, not humans. Most of them are males, but there are few female roles as well.
Since all characters are droids, feel free to add some sound effects to your voice files to make them sound more robotic. It is not a requirement, though.
If you do add any effects to your sound file, please include unaltered sample as well when auditioning.
If you feel like it, you can audition for more than one role.
Text in {} in audition lines are descriptions of a scene or other my comments that may help voice actors and they should not be recorded.
MALE ROLES:
Name/Role: CS-45, the Information unit.
Role size: around 60 lines.
Additional info: as an information unit, he's basically a walking encyclopedia.
Audition lines:
1. The droids were sent here first to build the whole colony and prepare it for the arrival of the colonists. At some point, due to a longer than anticipated period of silence, we began to wonder if they may have scrapped the whole project. Thankfully, their ships have finally landed. With our first task successfully completed, we are now fulfilling our primary task of aiding the colonists in any way they deem necessary.
Name/Role: CS-12, Central Zone's maintenance unit.
Role size: around 60 lines.
Additional info: his main duty is repairing all mechanical things on a planet.
Audition lines:
1. {Doesn't look at the PC yet}It would be so much easier if I still had that new behaviour core scanner. You just cannot leave anything in this colony in the sight distance of those cleaning units {Looks at PC}Oh, I am sorry. I did not notice you. I am CS-12, {CS-twelve} a maintenance unit. What can I do for you?
2. A replacement of a memory core means that all the former assignments of the particular unit become outdated. With the death of all the colonists, M4-78 {M-four-seven-eight} is the only entity authorized of assigning CS-45 {CS-four-five} a new task.
Name/Role: Battle droid
Role size: small, less than 20 lines.
Additional info: very straight to the point kind of droid.
Audition lines:
1. I have been programmed by the colonists to serve as an escort to any organic life form unless ordered otherwise by the colonists or any of the Archons.
2. {Warning, a bit like “don't cause any trouble”}No problems.
Name/Role: IS-03, boss of the cleaning units
Role size: Around 50 lines.
Additional info: obsessed with efficiency, wants the whole colony cleaned best possible. Usually annoyed at people for wasting time that could be spent on work.
Audition lines:
1. Please do not bother me, I have too much work to do. Our efficiency is decreasing rapidly as we speak.
2. {player tries to lie, says he already uploaded the reports when he didn't}This is not funny at all. If you actually did it, I would have already received them.
3. Now please, take that atrocious T3{tee-three} unit as far away from me as possible. Working with him was a horror. I have never met such an insubordinate in my entire career. And if that was not enough, I have just received our week-end efficiency report. I do not even know what to say. A disaster! A complete disaster!
4. For the Maker's sake! I can already see how our week-end efficiency report will look like! Go ask such questions to CS-36 or CS-45.{CS-three-six or CS-four-five} They would be more than happy to answer any of your questions about the colony.
5. My sound receptors must be malfunctioning!
Name/Role: Industrial Zone maintenance unit
Role size: Around 50 lines
Audition lines:
1. I1-01?{I-one-oh-one} I've never heard of him. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to help you.
2. The battle unit got broken photoreceptors. According to testers, this unit couldn't see his holotarget to shoot at, so they sent him here. The other one was damaged in a recent accident at the factory. I managed to fix him enough to look good, but he is still too damaged to be activated.
Name/Role: Industrial Zone Greeter Droid
Role size: around 40 lines.
Additional info: very... enthusiastic about organic life forms, likes the fact they're still around, but also gives any information he's asked about without any sort of emotions.
Audition lines:
1. {first time player starts a conversation, happy at first}Finally, some good news! I see that with the radiation leak gone, organics can once again populate this facility. Perhaps now operations will finally return to normal. Now that I have expressed my happiness, I would like to offer you any information on the facility's status you may require.
2. {not worried or sad about what happened, just stating facts}This whole area has recently flooded with radiation. Whether it was an act of sabotage, an attack, or merely an accident is currently unknown. We have lost contact with the Environmental Zone at approximately the same time. All our colonists in the Central and Industrial Zones were killed, as you probably have heard already. Then you've arrived.
Name/Role: IS-02, assistant manufacturing unit.
Role size: large, over 80 lines.
Audition lines:
1. According to the last record I provided you, there are currently 6927 droid units working in the colony. Is there anything else you wished to know?
2. {scared, knows player killed another droid}Yes? How may I... help you?
Name/Role: IS-99, main testing unit.
Role size: around 40 lines
Additional info: in charge of testing new droids.
Audition lines:
1. We are right on schedule with testing of the droid army, and therefore we do not require assistance. To be honest, there is no duty you could be assigned with at the moment. Not without giving you the duty of another tester, but we are not programmed for free time. We have to work. It is very kind of you to offer, however.
Name/Role: IS-56, leader of the planet's Research & Development Center.
Role size: around 60 lines.
Additional info: he comes off as a bit sarcastic, though he doesn't see himself that way. He takes his job seriously and doesn't like being interrupted. Also finds humans to be rather annoying. He's often irritated with their stupid questions and traits.
Audition lines:
1. I am being interrupted again. You "colonists" want the job done quicker than droidly possible, yet you keep slowing me down with unnecessary talk.
2. {player said he has to go immediately after starting conversation}Already? You can't even waste my time properly. At least I can get back to work faster.
3. Oh please, threats may work on stupid, emotion-driven organics, but not droids.
4. We're currently working on what was called "Project 42". I have no idea what that name is supposed to mean, but the colonists were never good with names. In reality, we work on building a droid army here. Really big army, I might add. My job is to find a way to make these droids as deadly as possible.
Name/Role: Tester Replacement unit
Role size: around 20 lines.
Additional info: replaces tester if original unit was damaged/destroyed.
Audition lines:
1. {sees destroyed units laying around}That is terrible. We've lost our main testing unit and 14 brand new battle droids at the same time. Even if we got a replacement unit for IS-99 {IS-nine-nine} immediately, we'll never be able to get back on schedule.
Name/Role: ES-13, Force Field operator
Role size: less than 10 lines
Additional info: he's function is opening and closing a force field to let droids in and out of the zone
Audition lines:
1. Dangerous chemicals have been released in the other part of this Zone, closer to an Archon chamber. The two force fields beside me create a checkpoint station, which separates one part of a zone from another.
Name/Role: KL-92
Role size: around 20 lines
Additional info: works closely with ES-07 (see: female roles). Together, they work on filtering planet's atmosphere. These two characters also serve as a bit of comic relief.
Audition lines:
1. {sarcastically}ES-07's oversensitive processing unit could be refereed to as a problem, yes.
2. {whispers to his coworker, sounds a little excited when he says “Mandalorian”}Did you hear? There is a Mandalorian on a planet.
FEMALE ROLES:
Name/Role: ES-05, Environmental Archon
Role size: over 60 lines
Additional info: one of three most important droids on a planet. She has full control over everything that happens in Environmental Zone, with only planet's main AI able to override her commands.
Audition lines:
1. A droid's function is seldom glamorous. Environmental engineering saves more lives then all of the lightsabers and starships combined. Without clean water and air, nothing would survive.
2. To be honest, they did not pay much attention to me since they arrived. I imagine the Sith were more interested in making weapons than cleaning water.
Name/Role: Colony's Security System
Role size: 4 lines
Additional info: computer generated female voice. If you played KotOR 2, I'm thinking something similar to Peragus security warnings.
Audition lines:
1. Warning! Assigning another high priority report to already overloaded units may result in a critical overload.
Name/Role: ES-07
Role size: around 20 lines
Additional info: works closely with KL-92 (see: male roles). Together, they work on filtering planet's atmosphere. These two characters also serve as a bit of comic relief.
Audition lines:
1. There is an organic life form behind us, why don't you talk to him while I work here?
2. You can keep KL-92 busy so he can't mess up my work.
