The New 52 (DC COMICS)

Has anyone been reading any of the new 52?

I'm pretty fresh into comics, but I've been trying to keeping up with: Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Batman and Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Suicide Squad.

I'd love to have some peers to discuss with and keep me motivated!!

Can't lie, I'm a big DC fan, but I'm not a big fan of revamping a story that's been worked on for a few years...I liked how the Flash used to be but now it's like "warp, rewind"...for all that, they could have just made a few other heroes (or at least expanded on those that fell into obscurity all those years ago)...so far, though, I'm liking what they're doing with Batman (the whole "Batman Inc." thing, not the other stuff) so I'm pretty much into that.

I recently heard that the Green Lantern has been taking a lot of heat lately because of Alan Scott being homosexual...Not sure how that's much of an issue since the comic industry has been around for at least seven decades and has appointed a crapload of writers that has exhibited racism, sexism, mental retardation, post partum depression, xenophobia, psychopathy (if that's even a word) and the like...and people are still going "HOLY SHIT, HE'S A MO!"

I might need to re-read up on stuff a little bit more, but it's good to see good ol' Cy back in action
