I think it's safe to assume "developing" means working out licensing for anime they haven't shown yet.

Not necessarily. In the past they have Co-produced the Big O II and IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix anime series. After all it says "Original" where as picking up existing series doesn't really fall under original. Not to say they can't pick up newer series or anything.

WELL, since that site isn't really official AS or CN releases, it could just be improper wording on their part. Who knows, really? Well...we will...next Saturday. XD

It doesn't have to be a site of theirs to be correct though (and CN really has nothing to do with AS as it was announced long ago that they are separate entities, which still appear on the same network) . It IS an official press release by them still, and if someone got it wrong I'm sure they would have informed them to correct it especially with that same news appearing on sites like AnimeNewsNetwork, but yeah all we can really do is just wait till next weekend to see what they start to bring us.

I know this is late but I'll be honest,the Big O having the spoilers*matrixending*spoilers was a bit of a turn off for me and I was hoping for a retcon. But I also heard there were plans for an Outlaw Star sequel OVA that never came to light but with Toonami back,the chances just sky-rocketed(pun intended).
