Summary; Alexx Hefferington, a New York City cop, specifically involved in the Special Victims Unit’s new branch, INTEL, is at his wits end and ready to retire early. It’s been 3 years since INTEL’s former boss, “D” , had been accused of selling secrets to the Russian Government and “terminated from work” by his rookie partner on the force, Alexx. Since the incident, Alexx has been promoted to the Chief of INTEL and has been appointed liaison/go-between for the Irish Mob and the police.
One day, after a meeting with a member of the IM (Irish Mob), Alexx get’s dragged into what originally looks like a normal hit and run… but in Alexx’s life, nothing can be normal. Meet Zakhar Gavlik; an obvious failure of a Russian Spy. After finding out that Zak was hit by a car in the attempt to cross when the sign clearly stated, DO NOT CROSS, Alexx doesn’t know whether to pity the man or laugh. When Zak explains his mission, the entire unit goes into panic mode until they figure out a plan to use Zak for information. Sadly, the true reason he was dropped in NYC is because of his agency wanting to get rid of him and make him someone else’s problem.
Not knowing who to leave Zak with, the unit draws straws and Alexx becomes the new bodyguard and babysitter of Zak. Follow the adventures of Alexx and Zakhar, the crime fighting duo without a clue! Who knows what lies ahead for them, after all, the future is Subject to Change!
((This was a short series I wrote about… 5 months ago, and then finally brought back from the dead. I have decided to make it a radioplay finally due to the constant begging from a few friends. I am in the process of re-writing the story, but I figured why not do this as well?))

Name: Alexx “Al” Hefferington
Age: 28
Bio: Alexx is pretty normal… except for the fact that he can’t stand his job. The only reason he joined the police force is for the salary he get’s from it. College educated and “well behaved”, one would think that Alexx came from a rich family… but actually, the only family he has left is a brother in a lock down mental asylum. Overall, he’s pretty much broke from having to take care of Zak and himself.
- He calls Zak many names but mainly “Stupid Duck.”
- He see’s Zak as a tad bit of a pest… but enjoys his company versus the other members of INTEL.
Voice type: Stressed out, naturally grumpy, sarcastic. *Alexx tends to swear like a confused sailor at times. Meaning his string of curse words don’t make sense.
Half of the time, most of them aren’t curse words.*
Audition line 1: (In a blind rage) HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE MY WALLET ALONE?! SERIOUSLY, IT’S ALMOST EVERYDAY I FIND SOMETHING NEW IN THE APARTMENT AND SOMETHING GONE FROM MY WALLET.
Audition line 2: (Sarcastic) Wait… you’re telling me it’s now my job… to watch this guy? I don’t recall joining this gig to be a nanny.
Audition line 3: (nostalgia) You know D, if you’d stop nagging me to do the right thing, I might actually miss you.

Name: Zakhar “Zak” Gavlik (Though his last name is rarely ever said)
Age: 31
Bio: Zakhar isn’t your normal… well… person.He rarely ever talks and when he does… it’s always something odd. Usually goes by Zak, or his code name, “Идиот с маской” which literally means, Idiot with a mask. Currently, he is living in New York City with the cop who found him, Alexx. He enjoys living in the city and following Alexx around like a puppy.
Voice type: Monotone, simpleton. (If you are able to do a Russian accent, go for it! I don’t mind if you cannot though!)
- Basically, he is a robot; he doesn’t truly love anyone and doesn’t really react to things.
Audition line 1: (Confused)…I don’t understand why he hit me. All I suggested was that he acts like a female when it comes to spending money. In my family, the women go… insane… when someone spends money in the household.
Audition line 2: (Dead serious) That color doesn’t suit you at all. I would try a more, darker green.
Audition line 3: (Slight hint of annoyance) If I am the duck, what does that make you? The fox that hunts after the duck?

Name: “D” (Derik Reed Elis)
Age: 38
Bio: Due to “D” not having a major appearance until Episode 2, his bio will be taken from the actual story. For the person who is chosen for the part, I will tell them the background fully. (This is also due to a major spoiler fest)
Derik Reed Elis; though most of the other guys called him ‘D’, always have a smile on his face, a cigarette in his mouth and stubble from a late night and forgetting to shave due to it. His short coal colored hair always messy and uncombed and almond shaped cornflower blue eyes were enough to make any of the girls swoon. Alexx admired his courage, natural leadership skills, and how he wouldn’t sweat this small things in life; that was the kind of man Alexx aimed to be.
Voice type: Calm and collected; preferably a deeper voice for him.
Audition line 1: (A little ticked off) Al, how many times have we done this routine? Stop being such a rookie and learn to follow orders from your superiors!
Audition line 2: (Chuckling) Look, if you take everything Evan’s says to heart, you’ll end up just like him; crotchety and boring.
Audition line 3: (Serenity/at peace) Al, you did a good job, now stop trying to be perfect and be yourself for a change.
