Arabian Nights Audio Drama
Episode III of Arabian Nights Audio Drama, “Tale of the Trader and the Djinni.”
This will be part III of an ongoing non-for profit serial as an adaptation of Richard Burton's Arabian Night's Entertainments. Occasional adult themes (nothing more than PG-13 rated for the Victorian era!) 18+ actors only. Each story is no longer than 20 minutes. Although the language is classical, there is humor as well as a touch of drama and the supernatural.

Story: Queen Shahrzad begins her first tale to the King on the first night of 1001 nights. A wealthy merchant trader encounters a monstrous vengeful Djinni in the desert, whose son he killed by accident. He staves off a death sentence for one year, and upon his return, three wandering Shaykhs intervene for the merchant by entertaining the Djinni with three fateful tales of their adventures.
