I have just been 'chargebacked' and am in $105 of debt to the site as a result of a client skimping off with the money he ALREADY PAID ME. There is nothing in place to prevent this happening or rectify it. You use Freelancer.com at your OWN FINANCIAL RISK.

That was pretty disgusting, to say the least. Such freaking cowards to hide behind the ToS after it being changed without anyone's knowledge.

Never heard of the site, before, but I certainly will never use it. Thanks for the heads up.

If I were you, I would at least try to make a case out of this. Waht they did was a serious crime and if you got a way to prove it, then I'm almost sure you got a case.

Dayum, and the website looks so enticing as well. I wonder if they have this happening on their site a lot.
