I have just been 'chargebacked' and am in $105 of debt to the site as a result of a client skimping off with the money he ALREADY PAID ME. There is nothing in place to prevent this happening or rectify it. You use Freelancer.com at your OWN FINANCIAL RISK.

That was pretty disgusting, to say the least. Such freaking cowards to hide behind the ToS after it being changed without anyone's knowledge.

If I were you, I would at least try to make a case out of this. Waht they did was a serious crime and if you got a way to prove it, then I'm almost sure you got a case.

lol, thanks for posting that, had already heard some less than optimal things out there and tolerated a couple of false moves, but this is the last straw.

Gonna finish up a project and I'm taking my business elsewhere.
